09 Feb 17 UTC	[Oz]:I think that was the most unnecessary betrayal I have ever experienced. I am most annoyed about that and it only have contempt for you as a consequence. For silly emotional reasons, I regarded that game as the most important Diplomacy game I have ever played. I take a rather Catholic view of the "forgiveness" process. After tresspass comes confession, then acts of contrition, and only then should an apology be offered. So I refuse to accept your pathetic apology.

How else could I fight Western Canada succesfully other than with total commitment. Ithink my move that captured Mexico was pivotal in messing with a powerful defacto alliance. I think your betrayal was despicable, duplicitous and downright stupid. I wasn't playing possum, I was expressing my absolute contempt for your actions

09 Feb 17 UTC	[Oz]:@wc yes, it was my my surprise move with fleets earlier that stopped Argentina from launching an attack North while you were finishing off Québec, but then a little later there was this demilitarised zone between you and Argentina, which looked like a defacto alliance, or at least defacto peace. By taking Mexico, both you and Argentina moved units to that area, and a fight broke out between you both. Simply getting those units to be moved there helped, in that they couldn't be used elsewhere. I had a devil of a time early, thanks to the way Sth Africa played. Anyway as I have remarked, I am deeply offended by the behaviour of swordsman, I only have one other game going, and that's gone pear shaped on me, so I can now NMR my way out of that quickly and leave backstabbin' dogs behind me. If there had been no viable alternative way for swordsman to win I might be less annoyed, but there was a viable alternative, it just would have taken longer. So I see his backstab as unnecessary, selfish, impatient and definitely despicable.
