16 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1997: *A glorious music is being played in front of a spinning globus while letters form the world "Neue West-Reinland Nachrichten" in the tv*

"Good evening, Comrades. Today, we report dark news. At 9 a.m. a small group of polish men had gathered and attacked our radio station in Kopenhagen, cutting contact with our marine forces. As we speak, troops from our former friend Poland are marching north and it is estimated that in about 24 hours every violent resistant will be brought to peace, in one way or another. The leadership of our glorious Republic of West-Rheinlandia advices every fighting man to stay down, go to a friendly house up there or find a way out of the combat zone to rally in Holland.

We are also receiving reports that the the polish army is turning all its efforts onto the east, our political experts theorize that the current leadership change of our comrade Russia is the reason for it. We expect to see great political upheaval in the known world and new alliances that will form.

On the cultural side of things, the Frankfurter people have made an agreement with the Munich Octoberfest officials. Next season, they will join together to present every guest a wide variete of their wine selection, a complete range of the best wine regions in France, Italy Austria and West-Rheinlandia. Our glorious leadership will give out free passports for every civillian who wants to attend to that big event.

Coming to our sports section, Spain did beat Egypt in the qualifiers of the World cup series with a score of 3 to 1. Egypt is trying to protest the penalty decision of the british referee, which in their opinion, was faulty and changed the overall game, even accusing of manipulation, but the football commission will most likely decide that everything was correct. All time favourite Italy is having a hard time in their group and dark horse Turkey also does look like it will not pass the qualification.

For our weather report, a cold wind from the north-west will most likely turn into a storm and come from the seaside to the coast. Every citizen should be prepared and fortify their homes against this attack from nature.

Thank you for listening. Glorious revolution.

*the glorious music begins to play again and the picture fades out*
17 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1997: :: A Polka plays brazenly a montage of Christmas Music and Waltzes as a Picture of a Sunrise fades into the Talking Head of the announcer...::
"Polish Freedom has been extended to the land of the Danes, responding to a campaign of emails written by Danish lovers of Polish culture, and the Danish Breakfast Federation, who wished to combine economically the delightful flavor of Danish Breakfast Pastries with Homemade Polish Sausage. The friendly Armed Forces of Poland (AFP) advanced into Denmark with Breakfast trays in their backpacks, smiles behind their ski-masks, and flowers in the barrels of their AK-47s.

Elsewhere, an attempt to hold a large family reunion in Belorussia was met with snarled traffic, blocked highways, and as one resident stated: 'Too many peopleskis."

In the Balkans, a game of tag is underway, with Polish athletes falling behind Ukrainian speedsters.

And finally, Britain adds purple strips and blue polka (yay!) dots to her Albionic flag... the Prime Minister was heard saying, 'I say.. melting pot indeed!'

Thanks for tuning in... (note the polka pun...)"
18 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1997: Ahhh.... Finally. Sweet death can't come soon enough
20 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1998: "He's not dead, yet."
20 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1998: "I'm feelin' better..."
20 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1998: THUMP
20 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Bring out yer dead
20 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Also, guys ... safe the last bite of turkey for christmas, will ya? Else we don't have anything to share with everyone.
21 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Yeah....killing the game owner before the holidays is a rather dickish thing to do, don't you think? Unless you are all sayin', KARMA, BITCH!"....except, you know, "drippy sweet-talking lovefest" and all that...
25 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Sorry about no press, my family made chicken waffles so I'm never coming back
26 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Leave me alone, you bastards!! :)
26 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1999: LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE
26 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 1999: too late
27 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: I am unable to enter orders... I am not sure why... trying different things. Stupid computers...
28 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: lmao Iceland is yours forever
28 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: Way to go, Ike!
28 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: Thank goodness...I am finally released from this travesty.

Good luck to the rest of you.
28 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: May your reign in Macedonia be forever.
29 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: GameMaster: krellin was banned: Forum violations/site rules. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
29 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: @Gamemaster... is it worth it? He has zero SC's and one unit... do we have to wait for that to finalize?
29 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2000: I dont feel like finishing this game. This was krellins game. I was hoping he would comment and joke around to the end even in death.
29 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2000: Sigh, thats depressing
29 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2000: I feel that way, too... although my feelings are influenced by the fact that I have only 1 SC left. Maybe y'all should kill off Kakarroto and I, and draw. That is probably where it is headed anyway.
30 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2000: Im not really interested in all that. Krellin was my ally. Hes dead and banned now
30 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2000: I'm in search of allies right now? The more the merrier?
30 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: As this game will be drawn most likely now, after the incident, it would be kind if I get at least my colour left on the map. I've saved a hold there and will not change the order. As soon as we enter the building phase, I make sure to delete my army so you can draw quickly.

Well, if you don't feel like a draw, then I guess my cause is lost here.
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Brain, if you're not playing, then CD.
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Ill do whatever I want.
02 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2001: Hmm, it looks like there will be no draw. Well then, it was nice being in Prussia for a moment. I guess West Rheinlandia will not live on in the heart of the people.
02 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2001: Have a happy new year!
08 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2003: Enter your retreat, brain. You've looked at the game at least twice since the phase started.
08 Jan 17 UTC I had not. Sorry.
08 Jan 17 UTC Gg all.
08 Jan 17 UTC gg wp. West Rheinlandia will live on in our hearts.
08 Jan 17 UTC yay
08 Jan 17 UTC well played all
08 Jan 17 UTC GG, everyone. I enjoyed playing with all of you. Thanks to Krellin (RIP) for setting up the game.
