06 Nov 16 UTC gg guys
06 Nov 16 UTC Italy why did you still go agro on me that last turn?
06 Nov 16 UTC gg all, never seen a game where turkey doesn't build a fleet the entire game
06 Nov 16 UTC Why not?
06 Nov 16 UTC I didn't expect a draw. Its my first 5 min game, so I just tried to be as aggro as possible
06 Nov 16 UTC I didn't expect a draw. Its my first 5 min game, so I just tried to be as aggro as possible
06 Nov 16 UTC gg all
06 Nov 16 UTC Yeah, it just looked like stalemate lines were set except for Russia
06 Nov 16 UTC Yuck. Should have stuck with my original intention of attacking France. Felt forced to build a fleet in Edi because Russia walked right into all of Scandinavia.
06 Nov 16 UTC As in, once my fleet gets built in Brest there's no way for you to make any progress into France.
06 Nov 16 UTC I was hoping Germany would help me attack France. I had my doubts once Germany escorted Russia into Sweden. Probably I was going to die in this game no matter what.
06 Nov 16 UTC Eng, you shouldn't have attacked Germany... fighting too many people at that point
06 Nov 16 UTC Yeah you kinda stabbed me first turn so I had to go after you. Plus Russia was going agressive against you. IDK attacking Germany didn't seem the smartest to me. But thanks for not going after me :P <3
06 Nov 16 UTC Russia were you trying to solo at some point? Because by the end of this you were enemies with literally everyone else on the board :P
06 Nov 16 UTC I'm not that familiar with playing England. I didn't want to go English Channel, but some Frenchies have a habit of going there themselves first turn.
06 Nov 16 UTC Ger stabbed me..had my builds in the north and was just trying to make some headway in the south
06 Nov 16 UTC I knew Germany would walk into Holland in Spring 1903, but was really really hoping he'd at least support me into Belgium. Oh well. Much to learn yet.
06 Nov 16 UTC Eng that French fleet in Bre only means one thing.. he's coming for you
06 Nov 16 UTC I know, but what was I to do? Was going to build fleet Liverpool, but I figured you would be going North with fleets. It seemed I was screwed no matter what.
06 Nov 16 UTC Spring 1902 - I was completely stumped as to how to continue.
06 Nov 16 UTC France, I think Germany really tipped the balance at the end.. you and I had a good thing going against Italy and turkey couldn't figure out if he really wanted to attack me or not... if Germany moved on Italy instead of me we could have knocked Italy and turkey out
06 Nov 16 UTC I didn't even want to go to Belgium in Fall 1901 (becoming a target) but it was the only way I could ensure a build. Russia moving north turn 1 was the worst possible thing that could have happened to me lol.
06 Nov 16 UTC you knew me and france were coming for you, your only hope was Germany attacking france, and you attacked Germany which probably annoyed him lol
06 Nov 16 UTC Russia in gunboat is hard... I prefer to secure one side with communication and focus on the other with the units.. the Germany escort into swe was unexpected
06 Nov 16 UTC But Germany escorted you into Sweden...that confused me as to whether or not he was on my side. But you're right...I had to continue with Plan A and hope (pray) for the best.
06 Nov 16 UTC Maybe Germany expected me to bounce you in Norway...but then I could have been stood out of Belgium.
06 Nov 16 UTC @Russia you went after Germany in the end though with the move on Denmark. IDK but you scared me because you were on both sides of the stalemate line and I wasn't going to make any progress against Italy without you putting more forces against it in the North. I might be wrong here, IDK how well I was reading things in the end, but why stab Germany?
06 Nov 16 UTC 3 builds for Russia in Autumn 1901...totally insane lol. That was cool.
06 Nov 16 UTC France, Germany tapped swe (a couple times) and the move in '05 to the Baltic is very anti-Russia by Germany, so I tried to get him to pull back
06 Nov 16 UTC Yeah I don't think I've ever seen 7 supply centers by the end of 1901
06 Nov 16 UTC I honestly thought there was a 50/50 chance I was getting no builds in 01
06 Nov 16 UTC Ah okay, that makes sense.
Also I just realized this isn't a winner take all, so I think if I knew that I woulda gone back toward Italy and hoped eventually you went in from the North
06 Nov 16 UTC the problem with 7 that early is everyone starts worrying about you and thus plotting to attack lol
06 Nov 16 UTC That's usually how Russia goes :P. Except Rumania you usually get to, at least for the beginning.
06 Nov 16 UTC True. Is there a way to add friends on this website? I saw someone mention it but don't see a way to do it.
06 Nov 16 UTC I was fine with leaving ger alone in the north, I was really hoping he would have moved south on Italy and the 3 of us would have won...
06 Nov 16 UTC Yes...rapid expansion is "asking for it" early in the game. Good thing for Russia that Turkey didn't know how to write support orders lol
06 Nov 16 UTC add friends as in tag someone to play with again?? IDK
06 Nov 16 UTC I started a new game, btw - feel free to join: http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=185169
06 Nov 16 UTC England that was a little humorous, especially when he supported me into his own army
06 Nov 16 UTC I'm going to bed sorry
06 Nov 16 UTC Same. I was support holding both of you guys so Germany could focus the few armies he had on Italy. IDK if I were you I wouldn't have gone Denmark but then you might have just ended up dead to G+I+T if Germany did turn all out on you.
06 Nov 16 UTC the move to Baltic I assumed was to setup an attack on swe
06 Nov 16 UTC agreed, that's why I didn't go to Liverpool from edi when you went to the med
06 Nov 16 UTC France, if you go back and look, when we knocked eng out, I just held my units in the north. Ger tapped Swe and then I moved on him as he went to the baltic
06 Nov 16 UTC No prob, kanosha. Looking forward to playing with/against you again in the future.
06 Nov 16 UTC and his fleet build in '04 (I think) had to be designed for me
06 Nov 16 UTC England, it was fun, shoot me a pm next time you setup a game
06 Nov 16 UTC Will do. Captain Brad seems to have really good success at PMing people to start games.
06 Nov 16 UTC @Russia yeah you're probably right. IDK thought I feel like I had to help Germany against you though. If you get through Germany England is wide open and My units are all south vs. Italy. Maybe I was being a bit too defensive but all in all I'm okay with a 5-way draw.
