That was a weird one, with Italy doing well and then disappearing. Had a decent alliance/understanding with England all the way through, and Poland latterly, although I think we were still struggling a bit against Egypt.

The reason I was pushed back was that first Italy and then France attacked me even though they could have seen I needed to defend against others
