17 Sep 16 UTC I was very surprised that a player as skilled & talented as sirkristof could not see that the only way to prevent the outright win, was to support my blocking Quebec rather than pinching my supply centers from me each time that I vacated them, in order to go & hold back Quebec.
17 Sep 16 UTC Thanks! Good game all.
17 Sep 16 UTC I was thinking the same thing about you actually duke, all out suicidal war against me while leaving the north open :( you couldn't really expect me to back off and just hand over my scs to you though! I needed my scs too! I would have been up for a truce, but since you attacked me first I thought I'd let you make the first move on that
18 Sep 16 UTC Good game.
Same happened here. Sean (Peru), this is a "winner takes all" game (draw size scoring), so my repeated attempts to propose a truce by these "support hold" orders on your units were precisely trying to tell you that you should stop keeping my units away from the threat #1. At some point we should have all stopped fighting each other and unite. Since this did not happen we all lost - appart from Quebec.
18 Sep 16 UTC And I agree that Mexico has not helped Florida nor myself to stop Quebec.
18 Sep 16 UTC I thought that I did make the first moves. I moved my units north to Quebec & Mexico walked into my then undefended supply centers making me disband units that were needed to hold a stalemate line.
19 Sep 16 UTC Ah you mean August 2004 which was the only turn you didn't attack? Since you didn't try to support hold though, it just looked to me like you didn't have an attack, and then you immediately resumed attacking! Just for future reference, a support hold would have told me what you wanted, otherwise how could I know since it's a gunboat. All I saw was all out attack on me with one break when there was nothing you could do
