05 Jul 16 UTC	Congratulations to Napoleon, the result was inevitable once New York started taking my supply centers from me. Sadly he realized the consequence of his actions a little to late to prevent the win. It should have been a 3 way draw, however Peru played exceptionally well for a well deserved victory. GG & fun to play, thank you all for playing.

05 Jul 16 UTC	Yes indeed I did, but as soon as it became obvious that Peru was going for an outright win. It was incumbent upon you to collaborate with anyone else left to ensure it did not happen. You taking Nova Scotia & Ungava from me, left me unable to hold him off. You should have ensured that I was able to hold him off. You threw away any points you would have secured, had we held him to a draw. We have as a consequence, both lost, which is embarrassing for any decent player.
05 Jul 16 UTC	I was going to remain silent about you first comments, but I will respond to the accusation that I or we should embarrassed by a loss, while congratulating the winner. First of all BC, as Texas said you were attacking me. Second, technically I took Ungava from Quebec, although I did help him take it from you. My reason for that was simple: to provide a buffer between us. Long before that it was clear Peru was going for the win, he was in California for goodness sake & was pressing Florida & NY, while your fleets were somewhere in the Artic, chasing dreams. And lastly, "any decent player" playing gunboat, no messages would ready up, rather than petulantly drawing the game out as you did after it was clear it was over.
06 Jul 16 UTC	Yeah I'm with New York on this one, you should have moved your fleets out of Labrador and Greenland once NY started support holding Florida. If you'd flooded the Pacific with fleets, my charge north probably would have been stalled. That being said, I wasn't sure I was going to win outright until I was able to get that army into Wyoming. And I definitely wasn't going to draw because of the non-readying of orders on retreats and builds. I don't mind non-readying during move phases, but the rest was pretty low.
06 Jul 16 UTC	Ha ha, I am with you guys on this one. The non-readying was deliberate as I was hoping that Napoleon would get board & either forget to order, or vote draw, as often happens in games where players have little stamina for a long running game. I hate it too, but it is a legitimate tactic, when trying to infuriate or goad a fellow player to the point of distraction. The reason I did not flood the pacific with fleets was because (my mistake) I thought we were just eliminating the little guys so we could settle on a 3 way draw. However, when NY started to help Quebec rather than to kill him off. I desperately tried to release myself but NY & Quebec made sure that I could not, thus giving Peru his opportunity & well deserved victory. Victories only occur when mistakes have been made by players, me included. Again, thanks for the game & for playing. I really enjoyed it & will happily play with you chaps again anytime. I did not mean to cause offense by my game analysis, I like to learn from any game that I play in, as I hope do we all. Perspective is everything in diplomacy.
