25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello all :) Good luck!
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Russia, lets work together and take down Austria.
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: same
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: for good luck
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Gotta love public messaging; makes things interesting.
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: France I offer a treaty of non-aggression.
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Agreed.
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: True that, but the backroom manipulation is fine if it works out in your favor in a private messaging game. lol
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Haha that is also true.
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Yay me...
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey Italy, how about a nonaggression pact? Russia and Germany can't really give you all that much of me.
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: ok sounds like a plan
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Welp. So much stuff happened while I was sleeping.
I absolutely agree with Germany and offer a triple alliance (along with France) against England.
Italy, Austria is wrong. Russia-Italy alliances are usually highly stable and you can benefit quite a lot from these.
I offer two options. If you agree for an alliance, I will guarantee you Turkey's home SCs, Greece and probably Trieste. If you reject, I will have to go for a preventive alliance with Turkey.
(Note: I hate Lepanto vs Juggernaught)
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Italy, he is offering you SC's across an ocean, but that means that any attack on you you cannot easily defend because you'll be spread out. Also, Turkey, Russia just offered up your SCs and then turned right around and talked about an alliance. That is not someone to be trusted.
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: I actually played a quite a lot as Italy and taking Turkey's SCs either with Russia's or Austria's help seems like a viable strategy.
Also, about Turkey: although I'd rather go for an alliance with Italy and straight-up talked about taking your SCs, that doesn't seem like it's going to happen. An alliance between us would be an alliance of convenience, and would be benefitial for us both. Attacking each other would be suicidal for us both, since that would result in Turkey being eaten by Italy & Austria and I would just lose quite a lot of time on you instead of dealing with Austria, for example.
I'm being too honest, actually.
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Russia i would be happy to take your deal
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: ...
This is what happens when you have two variants how to play this game and everyone both of them. People start seeing you as "not someone to be trusted" (c).
Then Turkey's fate seems to be decided. (He also doesn't seem to want to join the conversation. I guess making alliances is for weaklings)
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: And *tell* everyone both of them, I meant.
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Alright then, quite the talkative ally Russia. lol
26 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Sorry for that %)
