11 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Anyone got any more cat pictures? :)
11 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: /anonymous: I agree with anonymous, sod this. Get rid of a couple of the dead weights and I'll put my draw flag back on. Until then it stays off.
11 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Dead weights like Austria?
11 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm not as heavy as you.
11 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: i'm sure no one can see a Europe without you in it!
11 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm certainly seeing a lot of Europe!
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Should spread your wings and check out Africa. ;)
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Sorry guys you still can't beat http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=156118
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: But we can come in a close second!
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I will need a lift, does anyone have a spare fleet that can drop me off in Morocco?
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm perfectly willing to convoy you to any destination of your choice, be it North Africa, Scandinavia, the Low Countries, or anywhere that takes your fancy. All we need is agreement of the other nations to allow my fleets free passage
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well Italy already decided he didn't want to deny you anything a long time ago so that shouldn't be a problem.
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: If we combone both Italian and Turkish fleets we could convoy him all the way to Syria and tick Asia off his bucket list.
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Can I go to Norway after that?
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Sure thing. Italy, care to link up the convoy?
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: convoys not set up for that I'm afraid
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Don't tell Turkey, but if I can get into Smyrna I could flip his draw flag up.
12 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I want to go to Portugal then.
13 Apr 16 UTC Ah, sod it. If you all want to stop then playing on will be like the Christmas 2012 family board game disaster all over again.
13 Apr 16 UTC If anyone's curious, we'd talked Mrs Oct into playing Monopoly to get five players. This was quite an achievement as she claims to hate the game normally. By random fluke after a few circuits she had one of every set of properties on the board, and refused to sell any to anyone regardless of the generosity of the offer.

Not a house was built all game. London remained an undeveloped wasteland consisting of nothing but police, jails, and public transport, whilst frustration and increasingly angry mutterings grew ever stronger.

It's what I've always imagined socialism to look like.

Mrs Oct to this day claims she won. Monopoly lost.
13 Apr 16 UTC Yay, i (kinda but not really) won!!
13 Apr 16 UTC I had my draw flag up? Well, gg.
13 Apr 16 UTC Yeah... top tip for people who don't want to draw: Don't vote draw.

Took me years to learn that ;)
13 Apr 16 UTC Haha. I actually thought I had taken it down. But, oh well, makes the other game more exciting. Why did YOU draw?
13 Apr 16 UTC I'm getting old. Playing more than one game at a time makes my head hurt.
13 Apr 16 UTC Look at Austria! It's moving. It's alive. It's alive... It's alive, it's moving, it's alive, it's alive, it's alive, it's alive, IT'S ALIVE!

How did that happen? I was joking about everyone hitting Draw.
13 Apr 16 UTC I definitely started writing press to England before I noticed the game was over.
13 Apr 16 UTC In the mini game of trying to guess who is who. I managed to get everybody wrong.
13 Apr 16 UTC Yeah, I think in future the "anonymous" nature of the final should be abandoned. It gets ever so slightly silly.

Is there any rule against declaring who we all are on board 2 to get away from all that nonsense?
13 Apr 16 UTC Fine by me.
13 Apr 16 UTC Excellent. I'll start then. Over on game 2, I'm Octavious
13 Apr 16 UTC See if you're going to lie then there's no point. Don't listen to him, I'm Octavious in game 2.
13 Apr 16 UTC I'm going to steal VI's speech analysis machine so I can figure out who is who.
13 Apr 16 UTC It's not too difficult :). The one who knows who you are before even you do is VillageIdiot. The one who puts a lot of commas in where it's not really necessary, is Octavious. The one who mutes people a lot is Valis. The one you spend hours writing messages to only for virtually everything to be politely ignored is wiggins... and so on and so forth.
13 Apr 16 UTC Come to think of it, there are a lot of wigginses on board 2...
13 Apr 16 UTC Remind me never to mute anyone in case they think I'm Valis and gang up on me.
13 Apr 16 UTC Can you mute people on the other sites?
13 Apr 16 UTC The one's who write to you in the middle of the night are Octavious and TCS.
13 Apr 16 UTC Mute is exclusive to us, all the other sites consider it obnoxious.
13 Apr 16 UTC I've figured that much out! I'm not completely useles.
13 Apr 16 UTC Indeed, far politer to just ignore them in the good old fashioned way.
13 Apr 16 UTC At PlayDip we prefer to just mock them with witty meme images and anonymous snipes.
13 Apr 16 UTC and propose draws that don't include them? That could have been quite useful, come to think of it...
13 Apr 16 UTC In the middle of who's night?
13 Apr 16 UTC I did post in the middle of my night when I had a cold, but not particularly coherently. I'm convinced some of the players here don't actually sleep at all.
13 Apr 16 UTC Some of us have young kids, so you're probably right.
13 Apr 16 UTC I'm convinced that VI just sends press before and after checking on his kids whenever they make a noise at night.
13 Apr 16 UTC He probably wakes them up so he has an excuse to play
13 Apr 16 UTC I think they were playing for him in this game.
13 Apr 16 UTC I'll happily take that as an excuse for my failed game.
