26 Oct 15 UTC allright getting tired. maybe couldve gotten there in 3-4 years but meh
26 Oct 15 UTC gg wp
26 Oct 15 UTC well played everyone. GG.
26 Oct 15 UTC god damn it. you could have killed italy at least
26 Oct 15 UTC oh like that was proving easy ;P
26 Oct 15 UTC I had forced 3 disbands lol
26 Oct 15 UTC turkey was gonna support hold him regardless if I was at risk of taking one off italy :p if anyone was gonna bite it it was russia since ukraine/rum etc are empty
26 Oct 15 UTC Would have been such a different game if England didn't convoy into Holland and then march into Kiel
26 Oct 15 UTC i can't believe italy survived with that "turkish sex slave" tactic
26 Oct 15 UTC have you not spent any time in a Turkish harem then Austria?
26 Oct 15 UTC good game guys
26 Oct 15 UTC it couldve been different if i had made some other tactical choices
26 Oct 15 UTC it could've been different had I been playing anything but Italy
26 Oct 15 UTC interesting opening btw germany, was kinda fun to see italy's opening stopped that way haha
26 Oct 15 UTC yeah i was really grateful to him
26 Oct 15 UTC I am sure you bent over backwards to be helpful
26 Oct 15 UTC Also should have cooled my heels in Munich in Fall 1901. Good call France
26 Oct 15 UTC France outplayed me and most definitely helped me beat myself at the same time. I did a lot of the grunt work much to my own demise. well played. Sorry Germany. Lesson learned.
26 Oct 15 UTC Gladly Turkey showed enough sense to stop the march north and turn west at the time that he did. He did only just the right amount of stabbing his niehgbors in order to really secure that draw.
26 Oct 15 UTC England, would you have played it different if I'd bounced Russia in Sweden? Or even if I just held rather than support Russia to Sweden?
26 Oct 15 UTC Though I agree France might have been able to break through after a couple of years of stalemate.
26 Oct 15 UTC Yeah What was up with the support into Sweden Germany? Probably part of my quick demise, a fast growing russia almost alaways gets turned on by all its neighbors, two builds in 1901 is probably the worst thing can ever happen to Russia especially in a gunboat
26 Oct 15 UTC My attack into Germany was a last ditch effort to get France to leave me alone. I thought maybe if they saw me going all out vs Germany they would turn those fleets around and be like "ooh he wants to help me".
26 Oct 15 UTC Grats Russia for surviving btw. I felt so shitty after I took Sweden and then didn't even have a spot for a build. I was banking on England turning on France at that point, and I would have held you in Norway from Sweden.
26 Oct 15 UTC Wait, Russia you're saying you *didn't* want Sweden in Fall 1901? Then don't move there! No ones forcing you to! :P
26 Oct 15 UTC I think France likes the Tuscan scenery and was so disappointed to get his tail kicked out of there a 2nd time it forced the draw.
It was the (2nd) pivotal moment of the game. (he says tongue firmly in cheek).
26 Oct 15 UTC Yes, quite Germany. I have never heard a Russian complain to a German for NOT bouncing him in Sweden. Wth?
26 Oct 15 UTC Just the bounce usually works better for russia because a 5 unit Russia in Spring 1902 is much less threatening to the countries around than a 6 unit Russia. I kind of felt I was jumped after coming into a bad neighborhood with a nice brand new car.
26 Oct 15 UTC yeah just straight into the baltic sea and warsaw > sil
26 Oct 15 UTC the army in tuscany didnt really matter italy, it was the damn retreat into Mao. else i wouldve convoyed into liv and maybe gotten to 18 in 3-4 years after getting warsaw and munich back
26 Oct 15 UTC at the end of 1902 I'm back to 4 units, seen it happen tons of times, too me particularly. I don't really now how to play russia too well. I feel to exposed, like I;m out in the elements right from the start
26 Oct 15 UTC but yeah turkey did play it pretty clever by suddenly diving for munich as opposed to finishing off russia and taking trieste earlier
26 Oct 15 UTC Of course. MAO-Por is a pain in the derriere
26 Oct 15 UTC por I couldve lived with but the option for NAO is possibly more annoying even
26 Oct 15 UTC Really it would have been up to the play of Turkey and how smart he would have been and how quick he could come and reenforce Moscow and Warsaw with Support holds.
26 Oct 15 UTC yeah im quite sure with 2 builds here there was no way for me to actually get there
26 Oct 15 UTC highly highly unlikely at least
26 Oct 15 UTC I think Russia gets screwed when England goes directly after St. P, ignoring the western triangle completely. Seems to happen a lot, especially in gunboat, but Russia should be way down on England's priority list. How often do you see Russia invading England by sea?
26 Oct 15 UTC Russia invading england by Sea is always end of game stuff. Norway on the other hand can be grabbed during the game but not England itself. It very rare
26 Oct 15 UTC France or Germany always beat russia to the punch in the case of a weak england
26 Oct 15 UTC Yeah, England always wants Norway and the fact in borders on Russia's homeland drives a lot of the tension
