From my perspective both outcomes are the same ... either you solo or you and timmler split. I was toast either way :-). I fought to survive the round since that's all I had left.

I've still never seen a two-way split in over 700 games. Back around year 5 or 6, if I was either one of you I'd have been furiously sending signals to make peace and stop the solo. Not complaining! Different strokes....

Most of my Ancient Med games seem to end up the same as Persia's (and mine) this time around - smashed by meanies. :-) I did try to make peace with Egypt, but overtures were met by catapults.

I would have left Greece alone, I was being defensive all through year 3-4, year 5 was the turning point and rather than focus on Egypt advancing, Greece sent a ship into the Adriadic when I was moving away to try to fight Egypt.
