30 Sep 15 UTC Spring, 1994: Well with only a 12hr phase I want to be sure to have something set as a precaution. Then I talk and strategize and make changes as needed.
30 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 1994: Germany missed a phase. That helps his four neighbors. Do we cancel and start again if he misses again?
30 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 1994: I will go with the majority. But my cents: I played a game where France bailed after it had started so England, Germany, and Spain basically got free SC's and the rest of us didn't. That seems a bit unfair. That said, if folks want to play on I will do that as well.
30 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 1994: I forgot to play round one. I'm ready now
04 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1996: Half the game is tied for 1st. This is crazy.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: I owe my departure to the 2 faced Egypt and his pal Turkey. Not that Ukraine is much better. If working with Egypt and Turkey, please beware.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: This from the guy who not once, but twice, agreed to retreat, only to lie? Come now, be a better sport when you lose.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: yeah, i'm sure you would have totally won this game if no one fought you...
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: turkey turkey turkey. why the hell would anyone give something back that they'd already taken? on some vague promise that you're going to help me get Russia out of Sevastapol which had no impact on me? this after being screwed by your pal Egypt. and all of this after you allied with friggin Ukraine against me. you have a twisted sense of logic my friend.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: I am being an excellent sport. Just letting the rest of the board know not to trust you or Egypt ever.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: have you played this game before?
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Yes.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Am i in the right game? Russia is talking about getting Russia out of Sev and saying that egypt, who is on the other side of the map, affected him in some way? I am totally lost here.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: it does boggle the mind that someone who has played this game before, takes to the global message system to complain about other people playing the game...resulting in a loss for that player...boggles, I say
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: if you maximize the map, you can see my support order from sil to ber. It has an X on it. I assume that is because i tried to move my fleet in ber? i thought if the unit stayed put the support hold still worked?
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Support holds fail if the unit it's told to support enters a move or support move
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Dang, i had no idea. Thanks
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Ha. Definitely thought I was going to be first out after missing the opportunity to build new units first year.

Oh yea, DIE French swine!

Poland, I think you are correct. Also, I didn't attack Berlin so a "support hold" may not have occurred anyway?
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Is that how it works? I figured even if it was not needed it still would show up without the X. idk
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Eqypt agreed to attack Turkey with me but didn't. When I asked why, he handed me some BS about his phone not working or some such.

If it's more proper, I could email each of you separately to tell you not to trust Egypt or Turkey. That's all. No sour grapes here. No bitter feelings. Just trying to help who remains by telling you to stay clear of any agreements with Egypt or Turkey. Take this info however you'd like. I am sure I will see many of you again anonymously in the next game. Until then, good luck and enjoy.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: I'm glad this game is anonymous. Who wants Chinese for dinner?
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Russia-that makes way more sense. i was so confused haha
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: If I recall, you are the player who lied not once, but twice, and in fact claimed you "forgot" to enter a move you said you would make . . . yet I should not be trusted?? ;)

I'm all for getting called out when I stab or betray, but in this particular game, I have been as pure as Chicago snow . . . I feel nothing but love for you all. Well, other than Ukraine. :)
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: snow in Chicago is notoriously shit and grime filled. you might want to re-work that analogy ;-)
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: hidden message?
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: feel free to speculate wildly
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: lulz
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Wed 30 Sep Autumn, 1994:
RUSSIA: why didn't you move on Andana?

Wed 30 Sep Autumn, 1994:
EGYPT: stupid submitting orders on a phone fail. I guess I forgot to save
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Thu 1 Oct Autumn, 1995:
TURKEY: Sad to see you didn't honor your word.

Thu 1 Oct Autumn, 1995:
RUSSIA: It was mistake on my part. I thought I put in retreat. Sorry.

BS worked so well for your buddy Egypt, thought I'd try something similar with you.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: dude, get over it. this a game. you are going to give yourself hypertension or something.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: dude. I am completely relaxed. trying to say my piece and go but Turkey won't shut his li'l beak.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: I guess you have to have the last word? alright- we all heard you. "Egypt and Turkey are dirty bastards. and I, Russia, in all my time playing the game have never misled, contrived, deceived or done anything otherwise that I wouldn't hesitate to tell my grandmother about." Congratulations on your high moral ground.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: No high moral ground. Just don't trust Egypt and Turkey. That's it.

someone always gets the last word. it could have been but you had to chime in with your last erroneously stating that I had had the last word. if no one makes any further comments then I will have had the last word. but if not, then that person will have the last word. whoever speaks last has the last word - that includes the guy whose last word is pointing out someone else's last word. pretty simple really.
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Oh no, Chicago snow was the exact wording I wanted ;)

I have a large beak! It's all good Russia, I'm yanking your chain a bit. However, I have been a very good boy this game. :)
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: What's hypertension? That sounds bad! Is it bad? I think i have it....what is it?
06 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: look it up on Google MD.
07 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Gotta say, I was concerned that the humor had died in general chat. Also, if I have learned anything this game it is not to trust any of you bastards and to give kudos to the people who pulled one over on me. How else could this possibly be fun to play with friends?
07 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Ha. Definitely thought I was going to be first out after missing the opportunity to build new units first year.

Oh yea, DIE French swine!

Poland, I think you are correct. Also, I didn't attack Berlin so a "support hold" may not have occurred anyway?
16 Oct 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Well boys and girls, we have ourselves a ballgame! This is ganna be fun.
21 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: Once Ireland is taken, I believe we have a three-person draw.
21 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: Most likely
22 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: Okay, y'all ready?
22 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: We're deciding if we can take you out or whether you too have a stalemate line.
22 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: Mkay, let me know what you decide. You know where to find me.
23 Oct 15 UTC Our draw votes are in. Good game.
23 Oct 15 UTC Great game :-)
23 Oct 15 UTC Yes, good game everyone
