02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Are most of us interested in another game?

If less people are interested we could still do the 5 player map perhaps
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Im very much interested in another game, and BASIL WE COULD HAVE DONE SO MUCH IF YOU TRUSTED ME IN STEAD!
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: im disappointed, I really am. Would anyone be interested in a global domination game? or do those just drag on forever? I'm guessing it makes diplomacy much more snakey
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: but at the same time avoids people (COUGH ENGLAND) from going for second place when he has the potential to do soo much more
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: who's russia?
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm guessing germany was knap
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm thinking russia was bryan or dallas
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: karpuik was maybe austria?
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm Russia. I'm down for another game!
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: oh come on, tell us who you are
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I knew Basile was England because his grammar was perfect and he spoke like a gentleman.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm Dallas.
I had so much fun with Turkey and Austria.

Honestly though guys... I won because nobody worked together. Nobody....
There was that one turn where I backstabbed 2 guys at once and it was downhill from there.

So many laugh out loud moments in this game.
It feels good because I was thrashed by Basile and Austria last game.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: We should do this map or a larger one, again.
The world map is fun, but you need enough people in it.
I'm not a huge fan of the maps smaller than this.
I do have a friend or two who might like to join.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm so sick of being Russia.
75% of the time, I get Russia.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I felt like nobody was really utilizing "diplomacy."
People were fine working together but didn't talk their way out of betrayal, etc.
Nobody asked for a draw. That would have been a diplomatic solution had I not gained momentum so fast.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: My goal was to fleet a tank from St. Petersburg across all the oceans into Syria.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: yes, szymon, you are correct, i was austria
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: fuckin Drake told me ages ago that he totally gave up on this game so don't count on him to be up-to-date. I was quite pissed that Turkey didn't wanna cooperate with me when, Dallas, you clearly betrayed us both.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: BTW, did anyone noticed my amazing move I just did? I first support moved Turkey into Trieste, and created an easier target for myself to re-take it.
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: It seems we can only stick to the smaller maps unfortunately
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: UNLESS! we can get more people on here :D
I am currently playing the Fall of the American Empire map and it is pretty fun but you need 9 playas
02 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: lol. Yes, I noticed that. Well done. I would have done the same thing to Turkey.
Oh wait, I did that every turn to him... ha!

My fear is that I have created an atmosphere of distrust and rage.
Going into the next game, it could be brutal with everyone on edge that they can't trust anyone.
03 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Who was Germany?
03 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Honestly I was just disappointed this game that Basil took what was a completely good relationship and went all defensive against me, when Russia was clearly the biggest threat. then still would not work with me even after dallas backstabbed him. The amount of times I spammed Basil about working together was unbelievable. An underdog story would have been awesome. I really think had me and basil been able to work something out, we could have opposed you dallas pretty well, what with basil's fleet dominance combined with my decent land forces. the reason I brought up world domination was because second place makes the game become about greed at the end, when it seems better to take what you can get before the game ends, rather than try and oppose the first place person to try for a victory. Is there a mode where winner takes all? so we dont have to drag through global domination?
03 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Sorry Szymon,

I was a bit bogged down with life over here and didn't really have the time to coordinate moves with another player. I was really just riding out the storm inputting my moves trying to get the most amount of points possible.

But to answer your question, we can do a "winner takes all" mode. It is quite harsh but can be fun.
03 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 1907: i prefer the points for SCs mode because then if you don't win, you always have a few points you gain in the end
03 Nov 15 UTC Karpuik, while I understand your frustrations, I don't think it would have been reasonable to expect an alliance from me :P. I spent days trying to carve away at you with Dallas. And God damn it Dallas you and I could have had the world but nooooo you had to literally bite Turkey in it's Armenian ass and carve a giant hole through me.
03 Nov 15 UTC is that bryan? (spelling?)
dallas played us very well. he had us both against each other while at the same time his friends.
03 Nov 15 UTC friends with benefits
03 Nov 15 UTC Its an older spelling sir, but it checks out.
03 Nov 15 UTC and yes. Dallas played us like an accordion.
03 Nov 15 UTC well there it is
03 Nov 15 UTC Boom! Roasted by Russia.
03 Nov 15 UTC dam Bolsheviks
03 Nov 15 UTC France, I'm sad you didn't team with me.
France/ Russia alliance has done me well in the past.
03 Nov 15 UTC I wanted to, but I figured working with england was more important since i was incredibly handicapped with his fleets on me, then me and you had some funny turns, trying to decide between you or england who would work with me.
03 Nov 15 UTC I really wanted an underdog story
03 Nov 15 UTC and to be honest I didn't think i could trust you dallas after the turn with austria and turkey simultaneously being deceived
03 Nov 15 UTC I was hoping for england but basil didn't trust me for whatever reason
03 Nov 15 UTC though admittedly had i not missed my build early on. I think I might have attacked England
03 Nov 15 UTC Are we down for another game?
03 Nov 15 UTC I am down! Remember, continuous diplomacy until you return to Canada. lol.
03 Nov 15 UTC I have a friend (sort of) who would like to join the next game if you need another.
No worries if not.
He's a player I play age of empires with online.
03 Nov 15 UTC Won't be a friend for long with the way you play haha
03 Nov 15 UTC True.
He hates teaming with me on Age of Empires, too. So he will fit right in here.
03 Nov 15 UTC Also, he's a bit of a racist.
So, let's take him only if we NEED more players. ha!
04 Nov 15 UTC LOL, i'm fine with anyone willing to join
I love this and definitely wanna play more!
even multiple games at once
04 Nov 15 UTC i'd be down for maybe having two/three games going at once
04 Nov 15 UTC is drake out for sure? I want to get the next game started quick time
04 Nov 15 UTC message him if you want, maybe work isn't as busy in the winter? no, he works indoors haha
