Game won by CNote (555 D)
28 Sep 15 UTC Thank you to everyone for the game. It took more luck than skill to be in the winning position at the end, but I hope that my win will serve as an example to those that abandon their losing positions. I joined the game as a replacement player in 1903 with only three home centers left, an English army in St Petersburg, a German fleet in the Baltic Sea, and a Turkish fleet in the Black. Many would abandon such a position - in fact, one player already had abandoned my position. Sometimes, if you just stick with a game and keep giving it your best effort, you can get lucky and pull a rabbit out the hat. Thanks again to all who played, and good luck in your future machinations.
