24 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1999: Good luck with your start -- if fortune favors us it may not be too long before we can be of use to one another.
01 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: Let that be a lesson on why not to use your phone to send on orders.
01 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: No worry California, we are all very fair and honest players here. I am certain your nabours will go easy on you, since it was clearly an mistake. When I get to Kansas I promise to support you into Colorado. ;-)
10 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: ## The Yucatan Daily News ##
Tommorows referendum is awaited with suspence. Will the people choose the Cuban wellfare state that they loved before the Mexican invation. Or will they choose Status Quo with the strict Mexican "No Cigar"policy.
10 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: The world awaits the results of this with baited breath.
10 Sep 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: ## The Yucatan free news ##
The Yucatan cities and villages celebrate the landslide victory for Cuban nationality.
01 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: Here I come Yucatan! don't worry, Mexico won't hold you forever.
I will finish what Cuba started!
01 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: The proud descendants of the Mayans will be able to look with pride on their lands once more on that day.
01 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: A survey by CNN Americas/La Jornada reported that 81% of Yucatan inhabitants approve of Mexican rule. A major issue in the current election cycle is the threat of delusional, war-mongering foreign dictators. 69% of respondents listed national security as their number one issue.
01 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: For immediate release:

From the Office of the President of Mexico:

In light of the blatant hostility toward our peace-loving nation and with national security a central concern, the Mexican government is imposing unilateral sanctions on the violent Peruvian despot and the misinformed California surf king. Mexico calls on all peace-loving nations to impose similar sanctions and will be greatly indebted to all those that follow through.

The borders of our state will be closed to imports and exports from and to these blots on the otherwise great region. Commerce with other nations will continue as usual.

The ambassador for Peru is being escorted to the border as you read this and his Californian counterpart is being given a day to reconsider his state's position of the cultural background of Mexican citizens. We will be more than happy to forgive and provide adequate training to alleviate his confusion should he desire to reach common ground.

Finally I state unequivocally that we will not stand for tyranny. We will not stand for lies. We will not stand idly by as hostile men threaten our borders. In the proud tradition of the Battle of Puebla we will take on any odds to expel the imperialistic invaders on our borders.

Para dejar el pellejo, lo mismo es hoy que mañana
01 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: Here come the Conquistadors!!!
Imperialistic invasion!
01 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: Well then, things just got interesting.
08 Oct 15 UTC Spring, 2006: Not from my perspective....God hunting folks.
08 Oct 15 UTC Spring, 2006: Good hunting....
09 Oct 15 UTC Spring, 2006: Good game Texas, BC.
13 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2006: Good game Cuba.
14 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2006: I don't think it was good.
14 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2006: well, OK then...
15 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2006: You gave it a fair effort, that's all you can do.
15 Oct 15 UTC Autumn, 2006: Cuba, unfortunately we can not always win them all. Sometimes alliances work sometimes not. I too will not be long for this game. All we can do is try to learn from mistakes and how to read between the lines of those who turned on you.
