14 Aug 15 UTC | Spring, 1: Welcome everyone to the game! I chose this map since it is most simple as you typically only have 2 neighbours and everyone kinda starts on an equal footing. As you might have learned from the rules, the goal of the game is to collect supply centres (the territories with the circled dots on them). If you get 18 of them, you win! You might also see all the moves available to you. At this point in the game you should mostly be using the "move" command. Try to see if you can move your armies and fleets so each one rests on a supply centre. If you control it by the end of fall, you will now own that territory and get to build a new unit next year! You might also notice that there are many territories that both you and your neighbour might call under their own "area of influence". This is where negotiation comes into play. Talk to your neighbours, offer them territory in order to maintain peace, or talk to their respective neighbour to gang up on them. |

15 Aug 15 UTC | Autumn, 1: Great idea Dallas, we will see what people want! |
16 Aug 15 UTC | Autumn, 1: Great first moves everyone! Just a reminder for this educational game that ship units can take over not only water (blue) territories but also all coastal territories. If a territory touches water, it can be landed on by a ship unit. |

25 Aug 15 UTC | Autumn, 3: Has anyone noticed how there is a delay of multiple duplicate messages in both games? |
25 Aug 15 UTC | Autumn, 3: Yes! I find that if you use your mobile device to update this game it can sometimes resend a message if you refresh the page. I dont use my phone anymore but when I did it was a problem. |
26 Aug 15 UTC | Autumn, 3: Its hard to be jewish in Egypt. |
26 Aug 15 UTC | Autumn, 3: Also remember, the game ends when someone gets up to 18 SCs at the end of the year. That will divide the "diplomacy points" up based on who has the most SCs (with the winner taking most of them, and those defeated getting zero). There is also the option of a draw which will hand out the points to all the players still surviving equally. |
26 Aug 15 UTC | Autumn, 3: It IS hard to be Jewish in Egypt. Thanks for reminding me! |
