29 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: Good luck and have fun.
29 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: Not too much luck though...
30 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: Have Fun All!!!
30 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: This is really awkward, but for some reason I thought I was England this whole time...
30 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: So maybe that will explain some of the press you have gotten from me that probably doesn't make any sense.
30 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: Ha funny! Transnationalism
30 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: Good Luck all
30 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1994: Привет, и удачи всем!
02 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: So, since we're getting close to it, I feel that I should warn everyone that this coming Tuesday and Wednesday I'll be traveling with family, so if I could get a pause that would be ideal. If anyone objects, I'll try to keep up, but my press will be sent and ordered late at night or early in the morning from my phone in a hotel room.
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: I am down for a pause. I would want the same done for me.
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: ^
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: yeah, I'll vote pause after the turn goes through in 2 hours 35 minutes.
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: He said Tuesday and Wednesday, no hurry.
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: I'm good with a pause
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: Haha, yeah. I was gonna hit pause when I left Tuesday morning. That should still leave a phase after this one goes through. Though, tomorrow night it'll still be mostly from my phone.
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: fine with me
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: With me as well.
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: Thanks all!
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: Does anyone think this variant is imbalanced? My friend and I agree that Italy, as well as a few other western powers, are vastly powerful. Turkey and Germany are also really good.
03 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1995: I am relatively new to this variant, but I think it is fairly even:
-Britain now gets Ireland as a safe extra Supply Base, and with France having no direct access to the English Channel, Britain is any easily defendable country with great potential options for anchoring onto mainland Europe.
-Egypt has some options, and in his little corner of the world, he is able to develop as an easily defendable and formidable attacking nation.
-France is able to get around 3 or 4 builds quickly, and then rush any nation he please. Unfortunately he is surrounded by many powerful foes, so he must be wary early on.
-Germany is able to get around 3 or 4 builds quickly, and then rush any nation he please. Unfortunately he is surrounded by many powerful foes, so he must be wary early on.
-Italy is able to move into the Balkans, Mediterranean Sea, or West Europe as he pleases. Unfortunately, his immediate holdings seem invasive to all who surround him.
-Poland though he starts small, some simple early moves could force any of the big nations to their knees.
-Russia is the biggest nation, and unlike the Classic Variant, the majority of his starting Supply Bases are in a fairly defendable starting point. He has to keep gaining land to really establish his holdings.
-Spain has an obnoxious neighbor in Britain, but with cooperation, Spain can move quickly from a fairly safe position.
-Turkey is able to get around 3 or 4 builds quickly, and then rush any nation he please. Unfortunately he is surrounded by many powerful foes, so he must be wary early on.
-Ukraine is a strong player in the Balkans, and the Black Sea alike. He is surrounded by a lot of strong foes, but with strong alliances, he can grow quickly.

When I first played the World Variant, I realized that it is a bunch of Double and Triple powers fighting around, like a bunch of variants crammed together. I tried to look at it, but I simply couldn't do it. That variant... scares me.
