12 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 3: ROFL...I deserve a pounding. Went to load orders and accidentally hit ready before doing so -- bad connection on a portable and you all had finalized already. Ouch.
16 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 5: Well Persia's going to win this because Egypt just decided to let him win pretty much.
16 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 5: Dude it was over when Greece gave up. Chill
16 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 5: Also its part of this game to be on good terms with people on this game, and Persia did that. Sorry if he deserves the win over you
16 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 5: Well Persia did have a huge advantage when Greece gave up, and maybe Persia was nice to you but you shouldn't just give him the win because of that. You should fight until it's 100% clear there's no chance of a draw which is what you didn't do. I'm not saying I deserved the win, in fact I played pretty poorly, but you shouldn't just give up because he was nicest to you.
16 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 5: Yeah I agree, but I didn't "give" him the win because he was nice. I knew there wasn't a chance of a draw because of where my units were. Thats why I just messaged him to speed up the process. I didn't play well either. We basically had a stalemate in the south but I kept trying to break through. The game was already decided by then so I never "gave" him the win. He already had it
16 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 5: Heck, one could argue that Carthage "gave" Persia the win by stabbing Rome early -- or there would have been another power in the north to contain him. This is a tight little map and all it takes is one or two small things to set the balance off.
16 Jun 15 UTC Well played Franz.
