10 May 15 UTC | Spring, 1: Hello fellow ancients. May the gods of Olympus spread favourable omens amongst us |
11 May 15 UTC | Spring, 1: Persia extends its hand in friendship to all its neighbors. |
18 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 3: Carthage, thou shalt not pass. |
20 May 15 UTC | Spring, 4: Hi all, I am voting Draw. Carthage has played a good game, but with Egypt missing in action at the start and on its third player it has meant that Carthage got the jump on everyone which has made the game unbalanced for the beginning. With Rome going into civil disorder, it will make any victory based on lake of opponents full stop rather than lake of quality opponents. Persia and I can probably battle Carthage to a stalemate, but I am not sure whether I am bothered to pay out the 2 to 3 years this will probably take. |
20 May 15 UTC | Spring, 4: Also given that you have won two other games with Carthage I wonder where he challenge is for you! |
21 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 4: Yeah, Carthage stands no chance against the both of us. Let's just call it a draw after Egypt is out. |
21 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 4: Thanks! I am still alive at the moment! |
21 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 4: You sound like the black knight in Monty Python's Holy Grail |
21 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 4: No, that's my cousin. |
21 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 5: Is everyone up for a draw? |
21 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 5: There are 3 draw votes in. So it is your call |
21 May 15 UTC | Autumn, 5: But yes. I am up for a draw. |
21 May 15 UTC | thanks for the game guys/gals? it was a pity that Egypt bugged out in the 1st year as it made it a little predictable. however Niven did a good job with the little he had to work with. see you around |
21 May 15 UTC | good game |
