27 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1: Good luck everyone.
27 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1: The amount of good luck coming your way depends on your willingness to act.

I may have been unclear sorry. What Imeant is sometimes the mere threat of attacking by both our nations can make an enemy think twice. And one nation falling too quickly can allow 2 nations too ally against you quicker. As a new player I'm trying to figure strategy out, so bare with me. Right now doesn't look like we can accomplish much together.

30 May 15 UTC Autumn, 9: Augustus consul of the Republic of Rome,
I believe as I write this letter the likelihood of no response is understood, as we are at conflict of war. We the nation of greece will not beg mercy nor be ruled , it's merely notion of respect to a game well played by Rome and other than a few miscues greece will hold our heads high.
To the matter at hand, as a final request of diplomacy we seek an audience to discuss an option. We know 18 supplies would allow a solo victory and greece cannot stop this, without fleets Carthage cannot. There are ways to wipe us from existence without a solo but it's risky. Greece would like to remain a surviving nation to r established our culture east of the Aegean. We can offer 3 supplies this year if you can capture 1 from Egypt or Carthage your empire will be complete without further bloodshed. If not then so be we will fall with respect as a worthy adversary much as a gladiator falling to applause in your colleseum. There is no possible betrayal to this notion because the position does not allow it.

(The archon s have been disassembled and well, dealt with because of their poor decisions on behalf of greece)
P S this option does leave a small opportunity for the honorable Sultan of Persia to survive with 1, as well as the other empires. I await your response
04 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 10: Rulers of the known world,

You are all aware of the proposal presented by Gorgo, Queen of Greece. You will recall that I made some minor modifications to this proposal, and was fully willing to offer mercy and peace in the Mediterranean. As you are all aware this modified proposal, which I had named "The Treaty of Constantinople", required acceptance by all rulers of our known world. I regret to inform you that there is one among us who has refused to sign off on this treaty, and therefore the war must continue.

This may not be the last and only opportunity for a peaceful end to the bloody conflicts that are engulfing the world as we know it. However, there is no guarantee that another such opportunity will present itself. Time will tell.

Caesar of the Empire of Rome,
Augustus

P.S. Due to corruption which was rampant within the Senate, I have been forced to seize absolute power.
04 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 10: All rulers,

Perhaps someday I'll use my scouts to deliver messages to the intended country. (I seem to enjoy clicking global chat! ) but fortunately nothing I've said is sensitive versus anyone nor any attack/alliance to anyone revealed. Merely an attempt to save something from the inevitable at this point of the game.
I would like to take the opportunity to say no matter the outcome, ive enjoyed the game. I consider all of you fun competitors would enjoy another game in the future. thanx for your patience with me learning the game.

07 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 10: It is indeed a shame that all of the world leaders could not reach a mutual understanding and put an end to the ever increasing bloodshed. I, for one, hope that the opportunity does present itself once again at a more agreeable time. The emperor of Rome has been most gracious and merciful in his offering of this chance at world peace. Alas, it appears as though it was not meant to be at this particular point in time. May we all learn to place our pride behind us and, perhaps, even do that which our people require of us and allow them to keep their lives.
13 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 11: Darn, thought the game was over. Apparently a couple nations didn't like Rome ' s mercy terms. Well my opinion remains the same that all of you have been fun to play against. Annihilation looks to be my fate. Perhaps in the future we can find 7 of us to play another map or this one again.
30 Jun 15 UTC Hey I still have a boat left! I can fish and drink rum just can't dock. I shall name it the BLACK PEARL.
