Honestly, we were all but doomed the moment Rumania fell. From then on, it was a guessing game of which to defend of Swi/Aus/Hun, and I was sure to eventually lose all three.
On last spring in particular, though, I expected not to lose Auvergne at all. I thought that Poland would be focused on Switzerland, and that you would move to GoL and hold Auvergne alongside Barcelona.
Admittedly, I wasn't very confident that it would work out, as for some reason Barcelona never bothered support holding Auvergne. Then again, my coordination with Spain was always awkward at best.
Anyhow, great alliance Egypt. One of the better ones I've had in this tournament.
Spain, that convoy to Portugal was one of the most painful single moves I've seen in a long time. My condolences.
