06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: What is russia doing? He's abandoning his home supply centres just to attack me?
06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: yup
06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: So you admit that you're not taking the game seriously and not even trying to win. That just ruins the game for everyone. You're happy to let the english have all your supply centres if it means that you get to damage me. It's not fair to England. How can he claim to have won the game fairly if one player willingly lets him have his supply centres.
06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: Also you're now doing the same childish behavior that you complained about that the german player was doing to you.
06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: lol i had no chance of winning, i got rolled on both fronts and if i kept trying to defend against both of you i couldn't have stopped either, so i had to choose a front and i chose you since you backstabbed, but it really could have gone either way. England also promised to let me live as long as i threw myself against you but obviously he is just as terrible a person as you are :) diplomacy is great
06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: OK no problem :)
06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: "lol I had no chance of winning"? So you decided to sulk and throw the game like a little bitch and hand the game to another player. I couldn't be more disappointed. I had a real chance of winning this. I don't care if other players backstab me or gang up on me but this is different. I also disagree that you had no chance of winning. Earlier in the game England was in almost as bad a position being attacked by France and Russia and Germany but he didn't give up. I've seen players come back from worse.
06 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: Greetings Italy. I can explain that I have been able to diplomatically convince Russia to leave his north area, in exchange of allowing him to survive until a potential draw. In doing so, he agreed to defend his southern borders, against your forces, which were probably deemed the closest to his home supply centres.

However, I don't believe that he 'decided to sulk and throw the game like a little bitch.' I'd rather say that I've just been the better at convincing him to act in his own interests, and hence it has allowed me to succeed.

So I reckon we should continue the game as it is, and may the best player win.

Because, after all, it is just a game.
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: I hate the move by Russia. As a relatively neutral party in this.
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: Yes you're right. its only a game. I'm taking this too seriously
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: Why don't the two of you get set up on a stalemate line and draw. I know I don't deserve a share of this.
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: I don't want a draw. i am happy to keep playing
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1911: hey italy, just pointing out this is a winners take all game, so as soon as you hit the 18 SC you would have won, which means i would have instantly lost, and you were by far in the lead and very close, so the most likely way for me to not to lose was actually to throw everything i had you and hope england didn't betray me. But he did, coz he's an asshole :D nah he played me well, i assumed he would have rather left me alive to defend my SC from you so you didn't win as fast, rather than rushing mine to try to hit the 18 himself
07 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1912: Also pointing out he england also managed to convince france to position most of his forces south, and got the backstab on him in exactly the same way, because in a winners takes all game it really makes sense to team up on the person who is winning, which was you.
08 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1912: OK I understand. It all makes sense now. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions and for anything insulting that I said.
09 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1913: Hmm well that failed convoy really screwed me over.
10 Mar 15 UTC Congrats Italy. Well deserved.
10 Mar 15 UTC Good win Italy.
10 Mar 15 UTC Thanks everyone. That was the best game of diplomacy I've ever had. Nobody dropped out and there were no missed orders. Well done to England for fighting back and almost winning the game. There was a time when England was at risk of being knocked out. Well done to Russia too. There was a time when everyone thought that Russia was going to win. I can't believe I actually won a game with Italy. Every other time I've been Italy I've been the first to go. Awesome game!
