09 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1999: Sheldon? Who of you is Sheldon?
09 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1999: Please advise as soon as possible if some of you already know each other. Otherwise, it can make this game void as per this web platform's rules.
09 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1999: Apart from that have a good game y'all.
09 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1999: No---this was just a joke. Look at the name of the game. TBBT?
09 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1999: And yes, a good game to all.
09 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1999: Haha, yeah I missed that.
15 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2001: So does anybody live in one of the centers or spaces they control? I'm currently occupying Walt Disney World (living there would be magical) but I don't actually live there haha
15 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2001: I live in Ottawa, Ontario and grew up in Québec City. :)
15 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2001: Not surprised considering you use the aççénts
15 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2001: I live in Georgia and am currently holding on to Georgia
16 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Nope. I'm Californian. But I'll give you good odds that whoever's playing California lives in Texas. =)
16 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: i won't say where i live. :D
25 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2012: Gentlemen, I would like to ask for clemency as a recognition of my consistant presence and fair play in this game.

I believe I deserve to finish the game in the draw with the territoires with which I will be left at the end of this year (2013). The difference in the amount of points you will collect is minimal as well as the significance of having one more person finish the game in the draw. On the other hand, it makes a huge difference to me.

I hope that you will show mercy to me, as a worthy adversary, and press draw.

Thanks
25 Feb 15 UTC Spring, 2013: I agree that you have played a strong game and the going has been slow for a while - a lot longer than it should have, by all rights. And I do appreciate worthy adversaries.

But I'd point out that the game is called Diplomacy for a reason. Tactics alone do not dictate victory. You are a superior tactician who has put up an incredible fight, and that accomplishment should not be discounted, but the fact remains that it wasn't enough. We're winning because there are three of us - we built a strong coalition with the right people and bumped off our fractured enemies one at a time. In short, we're winning because of sheer numbers, but it took a lot of negotiating and strategy to come up with said sheer numbers in the first place.

So my answer is I'm in favor of fighting to the bitter, bitter end. But we're a team here, so my voice is not the only one that counts. If Mexico and California are gentler souls than I, and they wish to spare you, I will draw the game.
25 Feb 15 UTC Spring, 2013: I understand Quebec's request, and agree that he fought and fights very well. But I agree with Texas. Not every good and serious player must be in included in a draw.
And yes, the game itself was rather straightforward (except maybe the stabs to Cuba) with little sudden turns. It also had to do with luck---finding good partners at the very beginning. But this finding the right partners had also to do with a lot of negotiations.
25 Feb 15 UTC Spring, 2013: I agree that diplomacy is the name of the game and unfortunately my many negotiations have been unable to break your strong alliance. It seems even my last ditch effort will fall on deaf ears. To the bitter end it is then.
25 Feb 15 UTC Spring, 2013: Well, tomorrow i have an exam so i cannot write so much.. What say? you played well. i appreciate your try to let us change our mind on texas (nice gaming, for me), and your beginning with BC.. Then, BC has lost cause her missing diplomacy (answered only after 5 days) and her actions (like attacking me and texas both).
And you have my compliments, a right and smart enemy.
But i don't accept to get a draw only cause someone has played well - otherwise i should get in all my matches a draw (:D).
So, i say thanks to my allied, honorable and honest, and good game to you quebec, that you succeded to bring us more than 10 turns alone.
05 Mar 15 UTC Good Game.
