17 Mar 15 UTC	Finally. Poland seemed determined to try to let Germany solo in this one for some reason. Lando, how can you not see that if Germany gets any more centers from me he then overwhelms Spain and coasts to a solo? Bizarre that you are still supporting him into my centers when he is 10 away from victory and easily gets 10 from me and Spain if you keep helping him.
17 Mar 15 UTC	Also didn't get why Spain turned on me when he did. Earlier in the game it would have made sense and I was almost surprised he didn't, but the timing of when he did turned Germany into a real solo threat and made Spain his next target, so not sure if the thought process there.

18 Mar 15 UTC	@Spain: sorry for annoying you in the Mediterranean up to the end - somehow I could not get over your unfriendly acquisition of Libya back then. Anyway: you bravely managed to keep Germany at bay for quite some time! @Poland: I guess, your last turn finally started to show some movements against your embracing ally? :) @France: I agree with you - Spain's preemptive liberation of Bordeaux was not very helpful for the cause of us Mediterranean people. Thanks to everyone - it was an interesting game!
18 Mar 15 UTC	It was a hard place for me.... I figured my only chance was to get to a spot where Germany couldn't get past Egypt. But I didn't want to turn away because Egypt never backed off. I kept trying to support him to Croatia but he never took it. ANyway, I am just happy to have gotten as far as i did. I think I was down to two centres at one point and Germany is the only reason I didn't get eliminated. This was a good game, I had fun with a map I don't know well.
18 Mar 15 UTC	Good game everyone, my first time on the Modern map, makes for quite a different game than the norm. Got off to a strong start, then stagnated for a while in the middle. Took a few more centers once Spain attacked France, thought I might have a chance for all of Iberia but Spain did a solid job of holding me off. Never could bring myself around to stabbing Poland, don't know how many times I had the moves in then changed my mind. Nice job France for surviving the Spanish stab, and nice job Egypt all around, thought you really had the momentum going near the end. See you all later.
