24 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck everyone! Merry Christmas eve!
24 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck all!
24 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: Happy Christmas!
24 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: A very enjoyable holiday period to you all.
(And, since are all on holiday, how about trying to fit three phases in?)
24 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: Yes happy holidays to everyone! I shall ready up and hope you all do the same!
24 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: England, italy , and germany can take their time, as they may want to negotiate with france!
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: Should we pause tomorrow?
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: Preferably not. I have my friend Ebenezer to lunch.
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: Merry Christmas everyone!
28 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Wow italy, fuck you. sorry my language isn't really festive given the season but just fuck you
28 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Oh. Signor il Presidente. Just in case you didn't understand that.... Austria is not pleased with you.
05 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1904: Ouch. Nice juggernaut, though
10 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1906: Let's draw?
10 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1906: Good idea! But not yet!
11 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1906: Plz. come on
11 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1906: We all get a bunch of points anyway
11 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 1906: Well, if you've both given up, it won't last very long anyway!
12 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: Damn it, I did not mean to.
12 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: Damn it .... we hoped you had :-)
12 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: You have not seen the last of me!
12 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: I look forward to the rest of the game.... :-)
15 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: Spare us, would ya?
15 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: You remind me of a scene from the film "The Godfather". It's not personal, it's just business.
So, in the best spirit of the game, I shall try and make it swift and painless. I am sure Germany and Russia will be trying to do the same thing.
But a game isn't over until it's over. And this one isn't over yet.
15 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'm rooting for you Turkey
15 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: This Turkey is colour-blind. (They all are, Thomas!)
So is that you, Yoyo? (Of course it is, all the others want to gobble you up, Thomas)
Well that's very kind of you, Yoyo. (He's like that, Thomas!)
Pax or Paxo*? (*Paxo = UK food preparation intended for stuffing Turkeys.)
16 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yeah its me, yoyo. Looking good there, dude!
18 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1908: How about switching your ticks to purple folks?
18 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1908: I meant from purple to green. This colour-blindness is a real pain sometimes.
24 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1909: My objectives still seem a long way off.
After the disbands, can we review the allocation please?
(eg if Germany removes his Lpl unit, I will find it easier to reach Lpl & Edi than Lpl & Lon)
25 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1909: Sure!
27 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 1910: There is a strong possibility that the game will come to an end after this phase.
Can I thank you all for the game, very pleasantly conducted.
Can I especially thank Packman and the Captain for seeing it through to the end, very skilfully and in the face of overwhelming odds, continuing to seek alternative outcomes to the end. Well played.
Can I thank Kyle for being a game-long ally and for seeing it through honestly and loyally to the end. Well played, Sir!
28 Jan 15 UTC That was an intense game. I wonder if there is a single player that was not betrayed by Turkey. Congratulations, Thomas, you are a paragon of duplicity!
28 Jan 15 UTC Thank you Captain.
The game is far from decided yet.
In all modesty, I cannot accept your plaudits. At no time in the game did I have an alliance or even a tactical agreement with England, France, Italy, Austria or Germany.
My alliance with Russia broke down in the last phase. Each of us made moves inconsistent with previous agreements.
So there is a long way to go before I can claim the honour you seek to bestow on me, but I shall continue to do my best.
28 Jan 15 UTC Eh-hem, I think you'll find I made moves as agreed lol.
28 Jan 15 UTC So sorry, so you did! Why, then, did I not get into London? (Rhetorical question)
28 Jan 15 UTC Truth is, I am frit. Well played, Mr Kyle.
29 Jan 15 UTC In recognition of which I am going to press my 'Draw' button, but more in hope than expectation.
29 Jan 15 UTC Edinburgh cut it off! And very gentlemanly of you, especially as you were probably about to win.
29 Jan 15 UTC When, about 4 hours before the Autumn deadline, you showed that you had forgotten what I thought were agreed orders, I got spooked, realised I was at risk of losing and went for the win. I think you would have won if we had played it out.
Can you please tell me what your orders would have been. I would like to know what the result was about to be.
WELL PLAYED, Mr Kyle.
WELL PLAYED, Mr Packman, too. It goes to prove how important it is to hang on in there.
29 Jan 15 UTC Well, I planed on holding... lol. Thanks! good game.
