Mon 01 PM UTC | Spring, 1999: We have a California! We just need Florida to click on "Ready" |
Mon 09 PM UTC | PUBLIC WARNING: No one should under any circumstance consider an alliance with Mexico. His idea of "alliance" is for his ally to suffer the full brunt of any possible war while he laughs his way to clean up. NOT a good player to have as an ally |
05:56 AM UTC | Strong statement when game isn't really started |
06:10 AM UTC | Do you two have a past experience? |
01:40 PM UTC | Mexico ruined my chances in this game by telling a bald-faced lie (to California), so I decided to try to ruin Mexico's game by telling the truth: Mexico approached me asking if I wanted to squeeze Cali - until that moment I had zero plans to go after Cali... then two messages later Mexico conceded "I hope you don't mind, I wrote to Cali and made you the bogey-man" Now, I know we all point fingers at others to deflect attention, but that is NOT how you start an alliance. I tried to dissuade Cali that Mexico was lying to him, but Cali's response clearly indicated he had bought Mexico's BS hook line and sinker. So, here we are - I'm in a war with Cali that I did not want. Anyone else who gets a "let's work together" message from Mexico should be warned - the very first thing he will do is to try to screw you over |
