Game won by Buzzle (1531 D)
24 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1905: Russian revolution seems earlier than I recall it.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Well, that sucks that Austria left. I actually enjoyed the challenge that the new Turkey brought to the game by setting up a good defense. Now that seems doomed.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: It is now.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Galacia wouldn't have fallen, either.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: true, but Piedmont would still have. Then Tyrolia.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: The call is obviously yours but if you feel Turkey's effort warrant's it you could vote for the draw.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: I know. Your effort was quite supreme too, Italy. And, in the name of fairness, I probably should call the draw. I have worked so hard for the win that it seems quite a shame for this to end that way, though. Man, I hate quitters. Germany was in a poor spot early on in this game but didn't quit, which I admire. So, I will leave the decision to him. Germany, what is your call?
I suppose we could pause the game for an extra day or so and hope that some poor fool will pick up Austria. Highly unlikely though.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Yeah, Austria kept missing critical turns. Bah.
14 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Germany's been a trooper, that's for sure. They have also voted for a draw - though I think to have it with you alone. Regardless, good game all.
15 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1912: OK, Austria is back. A turn late, and I thought he had been declared "left", but whatever.
17 Dec 14 UTC Sorry Germany. You were a very good ally. However, since I was studying stalemate lines, I also read a few articles on gameplay. Winning 18 SCs is the primary goal for any player. Playing for a draw when you have a win in hand was discouraged in every view I read. And, I agree. I had 18 in hand. All it took was a stab that could not generate backlash. I had to do it. Again, I truly am sorry I had to stab you. You were a good player and continued playing when it got bad for you early. You did not quit. I admire that.
17 Dec 14 UTC It's all good man i would have done the same thing, we were great allies and there was only one way for you to win, I don't take it personal
17 Dec 14 UTC An interesting game. It was apparent that you'd have to stab him to win, but I wasn't sure if you and he had agreed to a two-way draw. Germany, this is what I sort of saw coming and warned you about, but I understand why you honored your alliance with him.
17 Dec 14 UTC Well played England. As Turkey, Austria and I hoped you would turn on Germany. Unfortunate that Germany didn't chose to protect against the inevitable.
17 Dec 14 UTC Can't complain. Survived to the end and "won" credits as Italy.
