23 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I can promise everyone right now that I am not Italy. I swear it. I dunno how people check these things but do whatever you like. I am not Italy.
23 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I think Italy's just trying to stay in the game and make life difficult for whoever he can. It doesn't look like multi-accounting or metagaming to me.
23 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: yes but in private discussion france proposed that i was italy as well and now he's presenting it to u all. i just know that i need to at least state that i am only playing as austria in this game because i just like playing the game and it's stupid for people who arent doing well *this* game to suggest i'm cheating.
24 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Sorry, I think Italy's crappy playing made me suspicious. He kept missing turns and then making weird moves. I was suspicious from the get-go, not just when I blundered. I think Turkey is right, Italy just wants to stay in the game, he isn't trying to win.
24 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: So, Russia... any chance you can put your moves in soonish? This turn is taking forever.
24 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Sorry about that. My life has been focused around my school's play. Opening night is tomorrow.
24 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Break a leg. :)
25 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Good luck! What play?
25 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Into the Woods. Things are looking good; our final recital went well.
01 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: haha i don't even know...
10 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1909: uhoh germany
10 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1909: i like the france/turkey think goin on lol
10 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1909: lol i did not realize that serbia was in such a bad sitch. lol o well
16 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: sorry for the delay, I submitted that order hours ago...not sure what happened.
16 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: Hey, just wondering if you guys are interested in a draw. I don't mean to be rude, but I am getting really bored. I want to start playing PBEM games with SPWAW ; ). Let me know what you think.
16 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: i dont know what any of the those letters mean. lol
16 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: and i dunno why u'd quit now. ur really close to a solo.
16 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: I'd like to keep playing; would shortening the turn period to 24 hours instead of 48 help?
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: probably immensely.
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: I personally hate 2-day games. I think 12-24 hours is ideal.
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: I should have qualified my post with: if anyone else feels bored...etc. No, keep the turns the same. Part of the problem is that I am too busy to really pay close attention to my moves (I can look often, but not for long). Such as it is when you are looking after a toddler. But if everyone else is having fun, I'm game ; )
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: I'm in 3 other games (well, 2, I just got my hindquarters handed to me on a silver platter in one of them), so my diplomacy itch is being scratched often enough for me to be okay with 2 day phases if you guys still want to keep going.
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: It shouldn't be too much longer since now it's Turkey and Germany against France ; )
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: Such a pessimist you are. Think of me as Switzerland. :)
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: Hey I'm not out of it yet! ;)
17 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: Yes, your swiss fleet in Smyrna is very comforting ; )
18 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1911: Did we want to ask the mods to shorten the turn period to 24 hours?
19 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1911: Hello everyone, I'll be sitting for Germany from now 'til after Christmas.
21 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: It just occurred to me: I can't wait till the game's over and I can find out who you guys are. Should be interesting.
21 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: ; )
21 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: sadness. i am out of it.
21 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: Could be worse... I think my record for "fastest time out as Austria" was in 1904... Italy, Turkey and Russia rushed me and I was toast. You passed up a lot of opportunities to beat me back, for which I'm eternally grateful. :)
22 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: lol well. i kinda bitched out my previous ally and then when u appeared, i got screwed. i kinda banked on u bein CD lol.
22 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: Hey, man, I was willing to work with you, but. C'est la vie.
22 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: Are there going to be any issues with people going out of town during the upcoming holidays?
22 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: i might be going away. haha
22 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: Yeah Austria, we should have been friends...actually, Germany and I should have remained friends!
22 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: Now Turkey is going to win ; )
22 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1912: I'll settle for a draw. :P
23 Dec 09 UTC Let there be no draw between you.
24 Dec 09 UTC So you don't want us to draw after we take you out? ;)
24 Dec 09 UTC Turkey, why aren't you voting?
24 Dec 09 UTC I'd prefer a draw between the three of us...seems rather fair. But if you guys are just going to slaughter me, then, yeah, I would rather see you guys duke it out.
24 Dec 09 UTC I'll be honest, I really wanted to play this one out, win or lose.
24 Dec 09 UTC But I won't be that guy, if you guys want to throw in the towel, I'll go along. I just wanted to see this one play out.
24 Dec 09 UTC well they both clicked draw which means their wants are pretty clear. so it's up to you to just click draw...
24 Dec 09 UTC I think we all played really well. I am a bit annoyed at this game, though, since it seems sort of like -- he who stabs first dies first --. Oh well, like I said, I've got Nazis to battle in SPWAW.
25 Dec 09 UTC So, France, now that you're not in the lead, you want to quit?
25 Dec 09 UTC Perhaps, but look at it from a different perspective for a moment. Germany, Austria, and I were the main players in this game. The position you are in is not much due to your own actions. Germany and I could easily band together and end you. We are offering you a draw over a loss.
25 Dec 09 UTC I beg to differ. Austria's inability to defend himself is not my fault. He passed up opportunity after opportunity to knock me back and took for granted that he'd be in a better position than he was in.

I'd rather play for a loss than quit. I'm not playing for points, I'm playing to win. But, if you want to quit now that things aren't going your way, I'll go along. I don't like it, but I'm clearly outvoted.
