01 Oct 14 UTC	Autumn, 1994: looks like both were replaced quite quickly - I was in before the first moves were even made, and the other guy is in without missing a cycle as well (his predecessor made first moves and new guy in place for second year). Only misfortune is the other guy skipped through Lithuania and left him without a build.

You are welcome to retire to a modest dacha in Foros or Alupka in the peaceful lands on Crimea :) The waters of the Black Sea are refreshing for a restful swim and the vistas of the mountains of Ai Petri will give your heart cause for solace after the lose of your homeland.

18 Oct 14 UTC	Autumn, 1997: Until a pause vote is cast, I will make no aggressive or cooperative moves in support of or in attack on Italy. Once he is back, I will resume action on behalf of or against him as appropriate to our previously established status. I would prefer a Pause vote to a wasted turn cycle. Italy's time away, based on the post here, amounts to under a year of game time, including retreats and builds, so we aren't really losing anything in allowing the pause.
