This was my first Modern Diplomacy II map game. It is definitely a good variant to the original game. Much more complex. Very interesting.
Yaleunc, good game. You gave me a good run for it. I was getting more and more worried as countries sacrificed their centers to you, while attacking me. Time seemed to be on your side as well, so if I did not finish the game soon, you would end up winning.

The mismove in Autumn 1999 cost me the south. That is why I have been leaving my orders saved, but not ready so much. I was making the moves then rechecking them later to make sure I did not have a repeat of that.

Yea, I think the marseilles move may have been after I forgot to enter my moves and was racing against the clock in the last few seconds of the phase. Good game all.
