27 Jun 14 UTC | Autumn, 1: Greece? Are you Ok? |
27 Jun 14 UTC | Autumn, 1: Yeah, what happened? |
10 Jul 14 UTC | Obviously it is an unlikely to be granted request, but I am voting for a draw. My argument is that, especially in Ancient Med, one country going into civil disorder, as early in the game as Greece did creates a power vacuum that disproportionately favors its adjacent states compared to those halfway across the board. Granted I probably should have stated my case for the draw several years ago. But I thought you should know why I was throwing that up there. |

10 Jul 14 UTC | Also, sorry for the double post if that double posted on you |
10 Jul 14 UTC | I think this proposal should have come much earlier, not now.... You are a bad looser i think. I do not vote for draw |
10 Jul 14 UTC | Heh. Concluding from my proposal that I am a bad loser seems like a radical interpretation of the text. However, as I already conceded earlier, if I was contemplating calling for a draw, it probably should have happened back in year two. And NMR and CD seem to be a part of the web game, and something other players should take into consideration. Regardless, feel free to chalk up the late hour of my request to either a novice understanding of the game or my competitive zeal to keep playing. Only tangentially related: when calling for a draw do people generally make a case for it in the global press box, or do people generally just click draw and leave it at that? Is one way considered poor form? |
10 Jul 14 UTC | I'm not sure about making a case for it, but people usually seem to mention that they want a draw in global chat. To be honest, I don't think this is a balanced map, even without people leaving. I'd be willing to draw the game, but I suspect Rome isn't... |
10 Jul 14 UTC | What happens if we all accept the draw? Everybody will take back his/her original money? The player of Greece as well? |
10 Jul 14 UTC | No, since Greece was destroyed we would all split his or her money. It would be a four way split. |
10 Jul 14 UTC | I will be the last who vote for it, but if everybody push the draw button, i will do the same |
11 Jul 14 UTC | So be it. |
