04 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 1: yo persia, non agression, you get chersonesus and sinope and cyprus, i get byzantinum, miletus and crete?
04 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 1: Bold making those claims already, I would say those are pretty easy guesses to make, so sure, but I would say watch your rear as well Greece...
04 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 1: Persia, the claims are being made now because Greece realizes that he is pretty much your only possible choice. You and I are natural 'allies' since we have to funnel armies into each other. I am sending a unit into Sinai so that I might claim Petra. Are you alright with that?
04 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 1: Petra is certainly within your sphere of influence Egypt, and I apologize to Greece if I sounded impertinent. Best of luck to both of you.
05 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 1: Thank you. I look forward to a beneficial alliance with you.
05 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 1: Carthage, alliance? You can have dibs to Saguntum and Sardinia while I get Baleares and Massila and then we focus on rounding eastward?
05 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 1: That sounds very reasonable Rome. So long as Baleares is only garrisoned by an army unit, not a fleet. I will do likewise with Saguntum.
05 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 1: Fair enough, looks like I have Greece to deal with ASAP though, so Persia how about coming this way and helping me out with Greece?
05 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 1: I don't know...Greece has been pretty amenable to divvying up territory so far, and provided they don't build a ton of ships and start moving East, I've still got a couple of territories to take over in my immediate vicinity. We will have to see how the builds go.
05 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 1: Persia, I am moving out of Petra as I will need the unit in this war.
05 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 1: I am assuming you are meaning the war against Carthage yes? I would not like it very much if a bunch of your troops started heading North. Regardless, I will not block you in Sinai, and even if I wanted to take Petra, I certainly cannot do it this turn, so you'll get no quarrel with me. As I said, I've still got a few territories to take over in my immediate neighbourhood, so don't worry.
06 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 2: That's not the most promising response, but it'll have to do...
06 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 2: Haha, apologies for not being more reassuring, but good luck with the Carthaginians! Be sure to bring plenty of salt!
06 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2: Fancy seeing you in the Balkans Persia ;)
07 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2: We heard that there were ethnic Persians facing persecution in Byzantium. We are merely taking over in an administrative capacity until the current instability can be sorted out. ALTHOUGH, if Rome wanders a bit more west, we might consider aiding our Grecian cousins.
07 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2: Looks like Rome is about to be in a two-front war... Definitely not good for you.
10 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 3: damn, i knew that was going to happen :( should have gone with my gut
11 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 4: Persia...
11 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 4: We assure you, those are not Persian troops in Petra, but rather autonomous Petran self-defence forces rising up against Egyptian oppression. Any Persian forces are their merely to protect ethnic Persian-speakers from political disorder. Also, no biggie, because you took Leptis right??? Congrats!
11 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 4: Ah, yes. I guess it's time for me to make some reforms before some other 'Persian uprising forces' come into my other states. If so, Carthage is going to be getting a new ally.
