21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: I am Carthage. Who knows anything about Carthage? |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: I'm going to avoid the center. Too much conflict in that area |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Persia, the sea, and Cyprus shall be yours, as well as tyre, I will focus on the southern levant, Petra and Jerusalem, these are our natural lands and we believe the levant shall be shared not fought over, to ensure peace along our trade routes war in the east is most avoidable with cooperation |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: The Seleucid Empire is amenable to peace between our two dynasties. We can agree to this land division. |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Though let it be known to all the world. We Seleucid's are the one true heirs of Alexander's Empire. We shall be the rupees of the east. |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Do the Egyptians then intend to expand west? How should the Poeni feel about such an bold alliance day one with the Persians? |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Shall I confere with the Romans and the Greeks? A strong Egyptian and Persian alliance spells only great trouble to the Greeks and Poeni? |

21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: I intend to maintain my neutrality and will expand to the lands immediately surrounding Greece. I am open to allies and negotiations but wish not for conflict |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Let your fears lay to rest Carthage, the island of Sicily will be more of a troubling situation for you than some far away eastern peace talks. And do not stir the pot with our Greek brothers, for the Ptolemy bloodline runs deep with Greek heritage and culture. Never have I found such a questionable stance to make in fact, your adversary to… peace? As if the Carthaginian trade conglomerate is some war tribe, how were your concessions after the Punic war? In any case, keeping peace is our ultimate goal, not stirring the pot of animosity, we want our trade routes strong and secure, and to keep our fields filled with working men, not dying in far away lands. |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Egypt can we come to some agreement regarding Crete? I’m open to leaving it be for the time being or if you don’t mind me to have it then I would accept it. I’d like to hear your thoughts on the matter |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: I ask from a place of preference for too much communication rather than not enough |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Crete is naturally Greek, therefore it’s naturally your domain. You have no fear from your southern seas. |
21 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: I thank you for being so amicable Egypt. Let me know if there’s ever anything I can offer you in return |
22 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Sicily is no trouble for the Punic people. We too wish not for war, but we would much prefer to come prepared this time. Once the Egyptian and Persian boarders are drawn and at premeditated peace, your only room for expansion is towards the Poeni and the Greeks. I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. |
22 Mar 25 UTC | Spring, 1: Having spoken my peace, Sicillia is Roman territory, I do not intend to contest that. I do hope that there would be no protest of a Punic Sardinia. The island of Corse would remain untouched as to provide the Romans and Poeni a peaceful buffer zone. |
