06 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: North Africa holds!
16 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1907: That was a pretty piece of work, and Austria has just earned this one. Well done.
20 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: FWIW - Won't have much, if any, time on the 'net until evening Sunday due to the holiday. For those celebrating - Happy Easter!
20 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: To you and all as well
20 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: Easter in Apulia.
20 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: From Amsterdam
20 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: To one and all
21 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: I gotta ask, Austria/Russia. What's up with the perpetual show in the south. Trying to keep up appearances. Or just show the Serbian/Bulgarian war.
21 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: We like to call it the Bulgarian Bounce. ;)
21 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: Lol :). Let me guess....this will end in a two way draw. They are always fun to see.
21 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: Rare as hens teeth.....
22 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1910: Rare, indeed! If it happens there'll be a lot of kumbaya being sung around the campfire! :)
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Well, put a draw in, just in case you want a 3rd to make it stable :)
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: The good news is ... I will be accepting a draw. The bad news ... is that it will not happen until you are (politely) removed from this map. ;)
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Anyway, I can see that Tzar has already started to do painting works... Try to paint Wales, Yorkshire, Clyde and Apulia BEFORE you finish the game... It will look better...
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: The defense of Apulia continues...
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: i love the army in syria,
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: the best part of england being the last out,(nothing personal) is that we could have taken down the guy who is going to take your last SC together in the beginning
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Funny how we both take some joy in me being last. I was perfectly happy in my alliance with Germany, until he stabbed for a small thing early. Same with France. So I was on the road to be the early out, and I'll be the last out and managed to see my enemies stricken before I passed. I'm content.
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: here here, everyone at their own funeral should be content....i love it...also kudos to you for being there----and to set record straight, you stabbed me by landing an army in holland
22 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Not sure how taking a neutral that had never been discussed equates with a direct attack on an ally, but that's what makes the world go 'round....
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Just make sure to send an invite to Apulia for the next game.
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: can i join you there?
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: I'll save some vino for you
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: love that
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: :) I wasn't aware Apulia was a renowned wine region.
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: I believe there has been plenty of whining from that region. ;)
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: damn
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. Be sure to tip your waitresses.
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Two drink minimum?
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Hey, when you don't have a military to manage, you have plenty of time to whine! :)
23 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1911: Bulgaria is going to be one fucked up place with all the war going on there
23 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1912: And so the new League of Nations, or the Hapsburg-Romanov Conference Committee as it is now known, is seeking bids from non-aligned locations. The Italian League of Apulia and the Republic of Ireland are in the running.....as there isn't anywhere else left......

Well played game, guys.
23 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1912: Well played. Gg to all
23 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1912: I expect Ireland to join the Hapsburg-Romanov Conference Committee, so only Apulia will stay independent...
23 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1912: no matter the final outcome, Russia wins by default because he is in both Clyde and Syria
24 Apr 14 UTC Spring, 1912: Damn ... I forgot the Clyde/Syria rule!
24 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: There should be a banner at the start of all games
24 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: OK, that is funny....or was it for show? Swapping centers at the last minute...
24 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: We're still all meeting in apulia
24 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: Crete holds strong against aggression...
24 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: We just think the color palette will look better that way. ;)
24 Apr 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: Yes, Crete and Sardinia are tough rebellions, so nobody can take them down...
24 Apr 14 UTC You think the Free Irish Fleet has disappeared from your radar screens, but we have sailed West to the New World! Good game folks.
24 Apr 14 UTC Thanks to everyone for a fun game. It was nice to finish a game and not have people bitter and angry. The 2 way draw was on from very early in the game, as I consider it an even tougher achievement than a solo, as it requires building an alliance that stands through rough times and temptations. That said - much thanks to Russia who played a great game and was always thinking ahead. I also appreciate the late assistance by Italy (who enjoys his retirement in Apulia) and France. Strong games by Germany and England kept it interesting to the end, and props to the Turk for giving it a shot at holding off a AR onslaught from the beginning.

Until next time ...
24 Apr 14 UTC gg all ---this was fun
24 Apr 14 UTC please let me know, if you would be interested in a new game at some point
24 Apr 14 UTC Yes, thanks for the game; I do apologize to gwalchmai for the misunderstood communication. I hope to never come across as a cock in games. I had drawn Russia for what seems like the umpteenth time and kind of sick about it, and when I saw Germany, Turkey, and initially Austria(I think...( making a beeline for me, I was frustrated but took it as a challenge to push back hard. Austria (RDaddy) was pretty open to working with me but was looking for compelling reasons. I'd like to think I offered a pretty comprehensive plan...and that's a skill for me to work on...create the short and long-term plans, and sell them. RDaddy presented the idea of the 2-way, and I think I was pretty honest when I suggested that I see the chance for the solo, I'll take it. Part of that is based on my development as a player in the game, and I think my stance solidified after a thread on the forum that ssorenn started. Guess I experienced a turn-around of sorts. I was...until the end...waiting for the Austria stab. I, as Russia, had so many holes that it could have happened.

I appreciate games where, even when it can be cutthroat, people can still be good-natured and jovial. Makes it much more fun to play.

Cheers all!
24 Apr 14 UTC Apulia holds.
