Game won by Turkveal (100 D)
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: no
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: its based off the attack on teth in the clone wars movie
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: but im always up for sqaud assult also
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: I don't like it much for one reason, I think the imps are near unbeatable at it.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: that comes a shocker to me cuz the imps dont have much for commanders under 30 points and im trying to think of a good 15 point or less imp fig curnently i think the best squad may be tarpels and gugan artillerst
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: True for Reps, shock troopers and felucian sto. Ungodly def. for such low figs and missiles 30.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: I think this edges out Reps because it would hold better against other squads. Not saying Reps wouldnt beat this but overall I think the Imps stand a better shot.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: yea but they do require cover to get the good def and without mass the commander has to be up there its a good squad but takes well placing and on one or 2 drop on accdent ull lose 4 of ur def it is a good solid squad thow i played star corps with eleite clone commander for a 27 def the other day phil needed 19 to hit and he still pulled it off just cuz they can get so many of the small figs and combine fire
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Yeah but the missiles is a 50/50 knock out at 30 dmg.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: true but most of the time neededing an 11 in this format is actuly less then what u need to hit with your attack and most figs have 10 to 20 life so its a bit over kill and since ur only getting 5 or 6 of them ur max kills kinda gets top out easy plus theres alot of stealth played but dont get me wrong shocks are good but i dont think there the best
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Like you said depends on the player.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: the whole point of the format is to keep your guys close to so the comm effect shouldn't be hard to keep. I would rather have 5 kill shots at 50/50 than have to combine fire just to maybe hit and kill 1 or 2 guys in a turn.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: thats true i personly have been loving antarian rangers with the old shaak ti u get good attack stealth and good def plus a decent melee fight also with stealth thow sumone brought up the new xzior with aqulish assiassns would be good have stealth hit for 30 with like a plus 15 with opurtunist and at 7 points u can get a good number of them i dont have any thow
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: not to interupt the tea party here, but would 170 bucks be a good deal on 2 cases of bounty hunters?
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: hmm thats a good question thats bout 85 a pieces which isnt to bad but i personly dont think theres alot of great figs in that set
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: theres a few rares in there that shine realy well and boba bounty hunter is still the best of the best but the common and uncommons are kinda eh
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: what about the same price for 2 cases of universe?
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: I feel its the same either way, both sets have some outstanding figs but its hare do judge. Its really a personal decision on if you can afford it.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: i personly hate universe lol so u dont want my opion on that lol if it was between bounty hunters and universe id go bounty hunters
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: thow univers has sum nice figs like trawn and jedi hunter vader agian commons and uncommons are a eh but universe has those figs like nute gunery and nein numb o and dont forget the old dash rendar....
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: of all the big fig sets i would always go with force unleashed but i know u just got a couple case of those
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: o jeff im ganna be honest i have been looking at this alot latley it is so much more effecient to by singles when it comes to minis espicaly when it comes to rares u might want they have gone down so much cuz of the way they do the distrubtion that most rares are 3-5 bucks
23 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: we should pause the game
23 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: i vote we puase for the weekend cuz of minis and not being near computers till monday
23 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Why the next phase isn't until Monday 9 PM.
23 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: i meant more for the other game acutly...
23 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: wrong gobal chat sorry i vote we puase holydiver lol
23 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: This particular game takes way to long as it is, we don't need it paused.
26 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1904: Don't know if anyone is interested, but there is a guy that is posting a beta test version of diplomacy with America and it is a 10 player variant, I'd be up for it, it is on a different server though
26 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1904: hmm show me were

26 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1904: or just go here: http://careyj.com/dip/gamelistings.php?page-games=1&gamelistType=New
28 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: id be up for it
29 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: sorry, but it has already started unless you joined. So far though I'm not too impressed. I got stuck as Quebec. It is different, and I'll leave it at that. However, the place has many different maps beyond just that, so if you want to make a profile on the other site we can make games there and do other maps.
29 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: so now that its obvious that this game has come down to a 3v3 slug fest i've decided that the important and civil thing to do is
29 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: come up with sweet names for our alliances!!!!!!
29 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: One thing I don't like about that is how everyone is spaced out
29 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: um we shuold be called the pentrators lol
06 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: I call to order a motion to draw, this game is dragging on and I think our time would be better served by starting a fresh new game.
06 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: only having to put orders in once every 4 days its not realy wasting our time i dont think a draw is neccary but thats just me
06 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: a draw may be in order not such, i'll give it a few more turns first
06 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Personally I don't like the 4 day time period, it's too long. I too am willing to give it a few more turns. I just think that this game has a good chance of going nowhere.
13 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1906: im going to say this right now i will not draw this game with 6 people alive so if you guys want to sit here and wait i am fine with that cause it takes a vote from everybody to draw the game
14 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1906: You do realize that is the same thing as a draw except you have to maintain and at 4 days a turn, thats not going to affect anybody.
15 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1906: i do know i need to maintain it thats why i dont have a problem doing it
15 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1906: cuz its just 1 time per 4 days
15 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1906: yea...and neither is anyone else...thats the point.
17 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: hmm i see how it is phill u realize if i fall so do u? great plan lol
30 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1907: i have inet working on my labtop agian! sorry bout that inet at home is realy realy shitty
