25 Feb 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: what's the difference between a support move and hold |
25 Feb 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: When you support a move, you are adding strength to its attack. So if you're attacking an enemy supply center with one territory, and you are supporting that move from another territory, that means you have the force of two units going there. You will win if the supply center unit is not being support held. When you support hold, you aren't helping the unit move, you're helping it stand its ground. So if another player attacks a supply center, supported by a unit, and you use a support hold on it, nothing will happen, because it's two against two then. (I hope that explanation made sense. It was kind of long.) |
