23 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1996: GameMaster: davs12345 was banned: meta/no response. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Turkey why you didn't attack germany in winner takes all game. All your gains didn't make any sense when you loose!
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Says the person who helped the same Germany to a large margin! Maybe they are allies. I usually stick with my allies.
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Sticking with Allies in a WInner Take all makes no sense.
That means you will lose and gain NO points. Its just a loss to you.
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: You will get a survive, and that's not quite as bad as a defeat. I'm not trying to argue with anyone, but I believe in sticking with your allies, even if they are ahead and will win. It doesn't always work out, but it usually does. It is a style of play issue. I'm not saying anyone is wrong for playing differently, just that there are different styles of play.
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: That may be true but then the winner of the game is usually the guy who didnt stick with his allies...case in point - Village stabbed me, I didnt think he would but was not surprised he did.
I would have tried to stop him earlier but I was too busy dealing with Ukraine/Russia that I couldnt never devote any resources to it.
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: I view a Survive as worse than a Defeat. It basically means you didnt do what you needed to do to force a Draw.
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: On that point if actually hoped to be able to manage to keep things clean with you, but with the outcome seeming fairly inevitable I didn't see the point in dragging it out. You guys have all been a pleasure to play against, it's a shame we lost a few guys early on.
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Poland, interesting perspective on defeats vs. survives. I think of surviving as being to tough to be eliminated. As for the winners frequently stabbing to win, it does happen. But not always. So I look forward to those games. That said, Germany has played an excellent game. I will look forward to seeing any of you again as friend or foe. :)
10 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Me too maybe allies with Russia next time!
13 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Suspect this is probably the last year so just wanted to say "great game" to everybody. Been a lot of fun and you've all been very classy players.
13 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Same to you. Well played Germany. Must take a while to fill in all of those orders though lol
13 Jan 14 UTC Good game germany!
13 Jan 14 UTC Good game, Germany! :)
