26 Sep 13 UTC | Spring, 1: Good luck everyone. In this game, remember, movement, retreat, and build (spring/fall) is important to grasp. I suggest: if you can grab a place in the fall, grab it. In the spring, you have to secure a new supply centre through the fall in order to keep it for the build. Timing is everything in diplomacy. Remember to chat up those around you. Always keep communication open, and never, ever get personally upset. This game is about backstabbing and pain. I hope that we can enjoy this game though. If you have any general questions, ask them here. Let's use this game as a springboard of ideas and for learning. Someone will win, but let's do it in a classroom setting. Feel free to private chat and make alliances against whoever you want, but use the global chat to pose movement/build/retreat and strategy questions. This game isn't for whuffy, it's for fun. |
27 Sep 13 UTC | Autumn, 1: Oh no! Carthadge didn't move. |

28 Sep 13 UTC | Autumn, 1: Yeah, especially with Carthage asleep at the wheel. Those pickings are too easy. |
28 Sep 13 UTC | Autumn, 1: Again, this game is a learning game. Please ask questions about strats/rules/ and run things by the group in this global section. The only goal i have in this game is to get people up on the game so that crazy battles can ensue from here on out. I envision a world populated by great diplomacy players. |
