28 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1999: May everyone have a good game and good fun!
29 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 2009: Nicely played/backstabbed. If BC hadn't been so arrogant early maybe we could have lasted longer :)

I will now take my exit.
29 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 2009: Clearly it was my fault. Ever hear of cognitive dissonance and self-justification?
02 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2010: HAHA accidentally pressed ready after only putting in a few of my moves.
03 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: Well, that was a break for me, but probably only slows the inevitable.
03 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: I will accept a draw, of course. (Arrogant of me, I know!)
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2011: Peru, you committed 4 fleets to defend Hawaii and cannibalized your defense of the Caribbean. Now you take two precious units way out of the way to recover Hawaii again while losing SCs. Guess I got you fired up, eh?
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2011: initially yes, now i just figured i'd finish 3rd instead of 4th.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2011: As you should. When NY back stabbed me, that was the end for me.
09 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2013: how many SCs are needed to win?
09 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2013: I was wondering that myself, it normally takes 50%+1, this map has 58, so 30 should've been it.

New York CD'ing might have had something to do with it, but that seems odd.

However, I'll bet it is 38 or 39, ~2/3rds of the SCs on the map.
09 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2013: I was wrong, according to the Variants Page:
"SCs required for solo win: 34"
09 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2013: Thanks. Draw anyone?
09 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2013: there are a lot of spelling mistakes on the map, wonder if the 34 was an arithmetic mistake.

Guess 2 more to go, so we will survive :)
09 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2013: I always wondered how to CD by the way... is there a button for that?
09 Sep 13 UTC To CD, you just miss out on two turns, but it makes you lose all that you bet, crushes your GhostRating, and other players can see that you drop out on occasional games.
