24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Good luck everyone, let's have a good game.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: GL all. Love the public press games. This should be a fun one... let's all settle in for a long ride!
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Also, never played this format before. Looking forward to trying it out!

Any general advice for this map that anyone wants to share?
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Remember that you can build units in any of your SCs on this map, not just your home centers. I've seen quite a few people be surprised when they find out. Other than that, just know that fleets can go Rostov -> Volga -> Caspian Sea and back.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Oh didn't know that about teh SCs. Thanks.

In more pressing concern. Germany, France, Poland... anyone want to talk distribution of SCs in central europe?
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Hi guys good luck to all. My first time on this map on this website. I think I played it over e-mail millions of years ago.

With SCs I feel DEN and HOL should be German. From there, I'm willing to consider what people might be offering but I am more than happy to be diplomatic.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Hi guys... I am very happy to play again. The last time I played is almost one year...

The only problem on this game is that we couldn´t send private informations... :(
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Aww, YEAH! The game has begun! France reporting in; I'd like Bel & Mon, possibly also Swi.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Can give Swi, so long as you take it on the 2nd turn rather than the 1st. That is, if no one minds me taking austria and/or serbia.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: I expect there will be 4 of us interested in one of SWI/AUS/CZE. IS there an equitable way to proceed?
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: SPAIN WANTS TO CONSPIRE!! GET HIM!!

IMO, it looks like Spain has a weak starting spot. Only three SCs and less obvious growth than some of the other powers. Ukraine looks difficult as well. My sympathies, friends!

Turk, on the other hand, looks like the place to be. Egypt doesn't look so bad either, though only starts w/ three.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: I'll be happy as long as I can get Czech. As for Bielorussia, I'd be willing to support either Russia or Ukraine there, but they'll have to convince me why I should help them and not the other.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Anyone want to ally with good ol' Britain?
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Year 1 Egypt/Britain alliance. Make it happen.
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Eh, I'll be taking Switzerland immediately with support, if you must know. Please don't go into Piedmont, Italy, as I'll next be taking Monaco (and Belgium); after that, I suggest a three-way truce between all Swiss neighbors: Germany, Italy & France. Germany, you can have Holland, but you and Italy will have to decide on which of you gets Austria -- remember that Italy will get many of the Balkan Supply Centers quite shortly unless Turkey allies with Russia & Ukraine and they all go west. Oh, man, this is going to be a good game!
24 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: I find it slightly disconcerting you are unwilling to negotiate with Italy over Switzerland especially after initially saying "possibly Swi." I appreciate you suggesting an Italian and German alliance as I think this has huge benefits, but if I am going to be inclined to ally with you we need to build trust not simply have it dictated to us.
25 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Sorry to come off so gruff; it's just that I've been dealing with a lot lately, for example: [insert thinly-veiled movie synopsis here]. Seriously, this is a time of tribulation for me, with this game one of my few sources of succor. Alright, Germay & Italy, what say me two partners in our tripartite central alliance? Italy, you're looking at HUGE expansion eastward just across the Adriatic, many times more Supply Centers within your reach than either Germany or (even worse-off) I can get to by 1905. You said you're fine with me taking Switzerland; as long as the German Army in Munich cooperates, you can take Austria and you will have absolutely no opposition in taking Croatia, Serbia or Hungary. Turkey will take Greece, Ukraine will take Rumania, and both will bounce Bulgaria over and over again until one of them gets a boat into the Black Sea (which will never happen, as Sevastopol & Ankara will bounce repeatedly unless Turkey bounces Georgia with Rostov's fleet). Trust me: I'm playing Turkey on this map in another game. But, back to the matter at hand; what say you, Italy & Germany? May I take Switzerland, Monaco and Belgium this year? I have no other real prospects, and Spain makes too nice of a neighbor as long as they keep their eyes on Africa & the Atlantic.
25 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: J'accepte. Mon bon ami France, cet alliance est bien fait.

Your story has inspired me. In fact, it reminds me of my own personal tale. [insert thinly-veiled sequel-to-France's-movie synopsis]. Wait, nevermind, my story sucks... and is quite possibly derivative.... and more expensive.

France takes Swiss/Monaco, we both stay out of Piedmont, Germany takes Holland and Denmark (forgot what you said about Belgium... don't really care). I'll take Austria, and we can renegotiate depending on how well I can do in the East. Sound good, Germany?
25 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: To clarify, I'll move to Austria this turn, and will leave it for Germany if I'm able to get Serbia or Hungary.
25 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Hey Frangermitaly, wanna be friends? I can help ya'll with Russia.
