07 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1901: I have read your messages, I will respond when I get home from my computer. Thus cell phone sucks lol.
17 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1904: French forces seized Münich earlier this week, continuing their indelible advance into Germany after a suprise offensive across the Rhine this spring. Shortly before winter forced the closing of the passes, German forces were taken by suprise as Italy's elite Alpine Division had launched sporadic feints across the Alps, compelling the Germans to divert additional and badly needed forces away from the Rhine frontier.

Meanwhile, Austria and Italy both continue to mass forces opposite each other on the Isonzo front - Italian battleships cruising up and down the Dalmatian coast face the Austrian coastal batteries as the inevitable offensive looms closer. The batteries are all that remains of Austria's defence at sea, following the titanic Battle of the Dardenelles as the combined naval and land operations of several Turkish armies and battle fleets surrounded and destroyed the Imperial Austrian Navy where Zeus seduced Europa. The Habsburg leadership remain indominable however, ever confident of the "Endsieg".

Asked for comment on the actions over the winter, the Kremlin remains silent.
17 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1904: Wow! Beautiful piece! I enjoy a fine piece of roleplay and writing. So far I've been able to enjoy Italys moves on the map too... Howsoever that will evolve I commend this piece of creativity...
and a monument of Gordon the Great portraying him with his sword and lyre has been erected in the liberated Constantinople, purged of the Austrian invaders, with the people dancing around it in spontaneous celebration. To dress as an Italian is the fashion this spring in Turkey.
How the Sultan feels about seeing his people worshipping a foreign leader just as much or even more than himself is shrouded in Sylence.
19 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm just gonna CD now. :] You guys have fun.
23 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Two NMR's? Ouch,
24 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: OR I guess I could just hold everything but never ready my units... Trolololol
24 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'm reeeeeeally sorry guys. real life is a bitch. I rarely nmr and twice in one game is unheard of so im really sorry that it happened.
24 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: at least you stabbed me first, right?
24 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: You get what you give, you stabbed me, then got stabbed by trance, who was stabbed by Italy... It is the webdip circle of life.
26 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1906: This just in!

Early today, the French ambassador in Rome was summoned to the royal palace and informed by His Majesty that, to his great regret, a state of war now exists between the Kingdom of Italy and the Third Republic.

Speculation as to the actual state of relations between the two great powers failed to anticipate this sudden and dramatic turn of events. Only a year ago, the Third Republic tittered on the brink of collapse and social disorder – in response, Italian forces had begun a large-scale mobilization along the common frontiers and the demilitarized zones. Following the restoration of order, French demands that Italy evacuate the DMZ unconditionally were met with scepticism after rumors of a secret Franco-Russian pact had been signed, which could have cleared the way for a an all-out French push into the heart of the Italian empire. Sources at the French Foreign Ministry have explained the Italians met the French with a counter-offer for the reorganization of the two great powers’ spheres of influence that was scoffed for its unrealistic central proposal. Negotiations continued throughout the winter in secret but, in statement by the Ministry of Defence last week, France’s accelerated construction of a new class of capital ships has convinced the Italian General Staff that France’s intentions in the Mediterranean are all but peaceful. A final warning was issued yesterday that received no response. Accordingly, Italy announced her declaration at war at dawn this Tuesday morning, the 26th of June, 1906.
26 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1906: Beautiful peace. I might need a draw for a day or so. Can everyone please grant me one? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.
27 Jun 13 UTC Let's all vote unpause now so France can just unpause when he is back. Thanks!
27 Jun 13 UTC He may be a few months... This is Draugnar filling in for JG as TD of the leagues. I don't know if he wants me to sit this game for him or not, but he indicated he was potentially gone for the summer, at least a couple of months.
29 Jun 13 UTC Hrm, that doesn't exactly jive with him asking for a draw for a day or so. I would almost prefer a forced draw to a pause for a few months.
09 Jul 13 UTC Could we continue the game?
10 Jul 13 UTC I think we might need a mod to assist us...
16 Jul 13 UTC mmm... this might become like a domino effect.
Now me in my turn I might be gone a while end from the end of July some time into August where I'm not sure if I'll be connected.
I think this was an interesting round of respectable players so it'd be a pity if we could not resume it, though we might be waiting 'til September...
13 Aug 13 UTC I'm available now anyway...
13 Aug 13 UTC Welcome back Turkey.
24 Aug 13 UTC Thanks... Alas... I go on pause again... Only a few days... See you guys...[?]
