11 Jun 13 UTC	Autumn, 1996: and the same in this game : ) can't you just get a sitter? I want to end this as soon as possible because I will be leave for a month in July, and fro mmy experience I know that once we pause, it take weeks before everyone hits unpause.

11 Jun 13 UTC	Autumn, 1996: it is never that easy, especially with 10 players, I remember one game that we couldn't unpause for 3 months because a losing player stopped playing, and we had to use moderator. I like to think of pause as an abolutely last resort, so try to find a sitter first, or dunno, mobile internet or something I guess.

11 Jun 13 UTC	Autumn, 1996: As much as I'd prefer to beat off France alone without half the British navy trying backdoor me, I'll vote for a pause. But if you knew you were going away for four days why did you join a daily phase game?
11 Jun 13 UTC	Autumn, 1996: I am not sure this the place for such remarks Spain. Everybody is aware of the current alliances against you. Even if it looks unjustified,this is one fundament of this game. If you are angry for private reasons, then sort this privately out. Some people have responsibility and have to go sundenly for 4 days, so it is ! For this reason I am not against a pause, even if its a pity, the game starts to be interresting !
11 Jun 13 UTC	Autumn, 1996: I've already voted for a pause in case it's an unforeseen emergency. But it is inconsiderate to join a daily game if you know you need to pause a week in, IMO. Nor am I angry, didn't you catch my double entredres?!
