05 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Good luck all. I'll start us off by extending an olive branch to British Columbia. I'll grab Oregon while you take Washington. Also, I would like to offer an alliance with Texas. We're better off watching each others backs than fighting and letting the others encircle us. What do you think, you game? |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: GL HF |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Sounds good Cali. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Heartland and and new york care for an alliance? |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Sounds good to me Quebec. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: like that, california. what do we do about colorado? And the south? |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Hey, Mexico, could we arrange peace between us? I'll have to claim nuevo leon to secure my borders, durango is yours, of course. Chihuahua you'll have to discuss with california. If we guard each others backs it could be helpful for the both of us. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Does anyone know of the mississippi can be crossed? |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: I agree to your offer Texas, maybe California leaves Chihuahua to me and I will leave Hawaii for his taking or vice versa. Because of the Alliance in the East I propose a Western Alliance that includes the likes of Texas. By the way not going for Durango just yet, so please leave it alone. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: alright, you are free to take it any time |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Hey, Florida--it looks like there are several alliances forming. I propose one between us. Let's both stay the hell out of the Strait of Florida, shall we? If you send your fleet north, you'll be able to take both Georgia and North Carolina this year. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Also, Peru: I've got a fleet moving into the East Carribean, but it's on its way to Dominican Republic, not Venezuela. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: I can agree to that Mexico. If you are not planning to move to Durango yet I guess I will grab Chihuahua and leave Hawaii for you to claim. Sound fair? Texas, since we will both be moving East I would ask that I take Colorado and in return provide support against the Heartland and his allies. If my forces move along the Northern end of the US they will stay out of your way, but still be able to help when they are needed and Colorado would provide a great outpost to bring more troops to the front line. That sound good to you? |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: ok Cuba |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: i think i can agree, california although you can't take colorado in the first year. Lets see how it turns out and what heartland is going to do, then we shall decide that question although i do not challenge your claim, okay? |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Works for me. Makes sense to wait an see. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Texas....it appears the mississippi can be crossed. I have the option to go from chicago to kentucky....first time playing this area of the map, so i was curious too. |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Never played this map either so it shouldbe an interesting game. Tell me if you can cross it with fleets when the chance arises would you? |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 1999: Hello |
06 Jun 13 UTC | Autumn, 1999: well, this should get interesting quickly. Peru, I think we can work effectively together in Central America if you become a Pacific naval power and I become an Atlantic/Gulf one. Otherwise, the Texas/Mexico alliance will take over pretty quick. I'm taking Nicaragua, natch, because I'm the only one capable of reaching it this year. |
