If you are personally impacted by a natural disaster and have the chance, you can use the emergency pause tool, found under “Need help?” on your game screen, or you can contact the moderators at webdipmod@gmail.com, to have your games paused.

07 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1999: Greetings all
07 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1999: Hello everybody. Hope everyone has a great game!
13 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2000: GameMaster: theorphanswordfish was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
28 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2004: My apologies too all. I have been without internet or phone for over 60 hours due to Wild Storm near Chicago! Sheesh. Such it goes! Winds 55 - 70 mph wiped out lots of things, but at least I had power and some haven't had that. Thank God all that I got hurt was in games.
28 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2004: cheers to that.
28 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2004: No worries, glad you're okay!
28 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2004: I did not say I'm OK...... I am upset at Comcast taking so long to fix this. And I wanted to win ALL of my games.... lol. Even the ones I was already in trouble in!
Like this one..... sigh
03 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2004: So, what's happening? I mean, I have no problem with keeping the fame paused since I'll go on holidays to Sicily this weekend for 3 weeks and really doubt that I can get my orders in... I always tend to underestimate how long these games take...
03 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2004: OK, since no one else is talking: I guess you guys won't wait until I'm back - on July 26th? I had hoped we could get rid of those factions that are basically dead (nothing personal) and maybe settle for a 4-way draw. Now that the game is paused (I can't remember voting for pause?), this hope is gone.
04 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2004: I don't know how it got paused either, I didn't vote for it. I assume that a mod paused it, possibly due to the storm? Either way we don't seem to be getting a lot of action on the unpause button...
04 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2004: all my games got paused at some point, they had a server error and paused so as to correct.
11 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2004: Can we unpause this or draw it or something? This is getting a bit absurd...
19 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2004: (jmo1121109): Unpaused.
20 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2004: Thanks! Here we go
26 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: If it's not to inconvenient I'd like to ask for a pause through sunday.
26 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: I had to get a mod to unpause the game last time because most people wouldn't vote unpause, including you if I remember correctly. Between now and Sunday should only be 1-2 turns, couldn't you visit the site on your phone and enter your moves?
17 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: Good game all
