09 Oct 24 UTC	Spring, 1: Hi all! I'm sorry that I took a day into the game starting to show up and talk. I've written to all of you know. All of you except for one had already written to me. I hope we can chat a bit more before go time. I'd like to have some more substance in the conversation before the havoc begins. :-) Everyone have fun!
09 Oct 24 UTC	Spring, 1: Oh, and a brief note for an unusual habit of mine. I nearly always save moves when I first know it my turn, and edit throughout the conversations. It doesn't mean that I'm not easily swayed. It just means that I have something in if, for some reason, I don't make it back before the clock runs out.

25 Oct 24 UTC	Autumn, 3: This is my first entered game after having been off of the site for a couple of years. If anyone can recall that far back, I was a little slow on press at first. I realized that I was out of the habit of checking in, and so tried to remedy that by joining two more games. It worked! There is so constantly the reinforcement of getting press that I check all of the time now. Yesterday, I had a day full of errands in a neighboring county. Then I came home, tired and sore, and didn't look at the games before sleeping. So it has been a rare case of about 21 hours of no activity for me. One of the things I love about Diplomacy is how supportive the community is. People were so considerate as to have all three games extend because of a deadline that someone missed!

25 Oct 24 UTC	Autumn, 3: No worries, I set the game up with 3 excused delays cos I sometimes miss goes, and there's only five of us, so it won't set us back too much
