15 May 13 UTC | Spring, 4: GameMaster: Mongoose_ was banned: multi/meta. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player. Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily! |
16 May 13 UTC | Spring, 4: can we find out which country he was |
16 May 13 UTC | Spring, 4: After hours of clever observation, I declare Mongoose was......Persia! |
24 May 13 UTC | Spring, 7: draw? |
24 May 13 UTC | Spring, 7: Sounds good to me. Let's mop up Greece first, though. |
24 May 13 UTC | Spring, 7: Yaaaa for me |
24 May 13 UTC | Spring, 7: Sorry Greece. :/ |
24 May 13 UTC | Spring, 7: I have had fun |
24 May 13 UTC | Spring, 7: good game all |
28 May 13 UTC | Spring, 8: So...is Persia no longer content with a draw? |
28 May 13 UTC | Spring, 8: We'll see how far I get. :) |
29 May 13 UTC | Spring, 10: Well, I'm done. What about you two? |
29 May 13 UTC | Spring, 10: Well, you tried to secure a treaty once and then went back on your word. I'd rather destroy you and be sure about it, rather than vote for an unsure draw. |
29 May 13 UTC | Spring, 10: How would a draw be unsure, exactly? I'm pretty sure I can force a stalemate from here, but it'll be a long and drawn out process. |
02 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 11: I confess I'm kind of bummed about how this has played out. I took over Persia for 3 points, and I think I did a decent job with what little I had. I never really expected to get a solo victory, but I didn't expect you two to team up on me for staying active while we cleaned up Greece. Come on, be a sport and give us a draw like we planned. |
02 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 11: Last time I checked, it was you who decided not to follow to first plan for the draw. Believe it or not, stupid decisions have consequences. |
03 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 11: Consider this: February, 1943. Hitler just lost the Battle of Stalingrad, and is now on the retreat. Finally realizing his error in backstabbing Stalin and fighting a war against the USSR, he sends an olive branch, reading: "Well, I'm about done. How about you?", as he wishes for a peace treaty, but wants to retain all the territory he gained. Stalin goes into a horrible rage, as recalls something Hitler said when the USSR was first invaded, something akin to "We'll see how far I get. :)". He then vows not to rest until he gets his revenge and Germany is raped, pillaged, and burned to the ground. Life lesson: Don't backstab someone and expect them to act like nothing has happened when the tables are turned. |
03 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 11: Well said. |
03 Jun 13 UTC | Spring, 11: Wow. And here I thought this was a game. I wasn't anticipating a comparison to Hitler, but please yourself. We'll play it out long. |
