18 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Welcome!
18 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello all. Shall we pause to recruit the missing powers? I've just posted the game in the forums.
18 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Jbucks88 has taken over Germany.
18 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1901: How come MY neighbor never goes into civil disorder?
18 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1901: GameMaster: marestyle has taken over Italy.
18 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Hooray!
26 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: runninggee has taken over Germany.
01 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Does anyone know why Gre-Ion didn't cut Ion C Apu-Alb?
01 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1903: ill report it
02 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Apparently, only a dislodging the fleet cuts a convoy. That's different than the hard copy version of the game, isn't it?
02 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Not as far as I know, but I'm certainly no expert.
03 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: I have a question too: if Pic supported Bel, and Bel supported Bur, then why was Bur forced out by Ruh with support from Mun? I'm probably wrong, but from what I understand of the rules, it seems that the attack by Hol on Bel wasn't enough to cut the support from Bel to Bur, since Bel was itself supported by Pic. Hence, this was a two on two situation (Bur supported by Bel vs Ruh supported by Mun), and Bur shouldn't have been dislodged... I'd post this question to forum, but its too complicated to explain quickly, and you guys all have access to the orders and can see the situation. I'm not complaining, but I just want to avoid making a similar mistake in the future, so if someone can explain this, please let me know. Thanks!
03 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: An attack always cuts support (unless it's your own unit), even when it fails as an attack, it still cuts support.
An army can't fight on two fronts, it repels the invader but is tied down.
03 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Thanks - I'll know for next time!
14 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Hi All, Unfortunately, I won’t be able to complete this game – due to the nature of my job, I will basically be out of internet contact for the next two months or so. It was really enjoyable playing with all of you, and I'm really sorry to screw up the game dynamics like this.
14 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1905: It's okay, I forgive you.
14 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1905: lol. Poor ENG, you're down to one unit and can't recover your SCs against an absent opponent.
14 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1905: I'm sure you're coming my way to help...
18 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: Are half our players AWOL??!!!
18 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'm not dead yet...
22 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1906: GameMaster: mapleleaf has taken over France.
22 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1906: Hello, peeps. I'm new, so don't be shy about contacting me for an alliance. All old arrangements are null and void. It's a clean slate!
22 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1906: Welcome to the game. Watch out for Germany, Russia, Italy, Austria and Turkey. They're all backstabbing liars. ;)
30 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Shame this became a "featured" game after I got hosed. Enjoy the remainder of the fight, folks.
05 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: hey could we pause please i will not have internet access for about a week
05 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: After the way you've given me the silent treatment all game, you ask for this favour... Frankly, I'm tempted to stick it to you. I would agree to pause, however, you've been so petulant I'm rather nervous we're just going to end up with a pause ad infinitum.
Besides, although my mistaken orders won you a reprive, it's only a matter of time for you I'm afraid. Good luck guessing right this turn. ;-)
31 Aug 09 UTC GG, all.
31 Aug 09 UTC GG, I concur.
