27 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: welcome to polska daily News Inc. Ltd. Corp. , and today we are commenting on the first moves by the global powers (in my very biased opinion).

let's start with the west, where a quick dash by the Spanish secured Gibraltar for them, with the English navy having have left for presumably Morocco.
in a more neutral move, the Spanish took Portugal (at least we won't be mistaking them for each other now).
on a less neutral note, they have towards securing a North African colony for themselves in Tunisia, and soon will have a nice chat with the Italians in those regards.

Italy, of course, will not have any of that. although with them more occupied with the sudden French blitzkrieg, and having have moved their armies mainly eastwards, I guess you could say they're in a bit of a pickle.

speaking of france, let's start by saying WOAH. wasn't expecting that.
seems like our French fellows took a page or two out of Herr "you know who" book, and are now blitzing across Central Europe.
what they're with that navy of theirs, I can't begin to make a guess.

the British, in what is mayhaps bad luck, mayhaps planned, have said goodbye to the Gibraltar. I'm sure the people there miss they're overlords.
having have lost a random meaningless place in a random meaningless land, the British move to compensate by taking more meaningless islands, they're targets being mainly Ireland and Scandinavia. I hope they're willing to share, because Germany and Russia sure want a piece.

the Germans, having have had a bad start, should be lucky to know that it's only going to get worse!
now, I'm not being pessimistic here, but with the Italians in Austria, the French giving the Germans a taste of they're own medicine, the British coming in to Scandinavia... seems like the Ivan will be coming for a drink or two in the Reichstag.

the Russians of course, in what would be a very Russian move indeed, move and fail to enter the Caucasus regions. they're seeing more success in Scandinavian seas, they're only resistance being water and snow. for now, Russia has taken a semi neutral stand, though clrealy stating they're interest in Sweden and Norway.
although with that army on Volga? Ukraine would like to have a word or two.

moving a little southwards, to the most peaceful region of the world, the balkans is going to be a bit center of action it seems.
with turkey, Ukraine and Italy both coming in for a piece of that cake, though Italy will have to deal with they're French neighbors soon. same with Ukraine, with Russia being in Volga.

speaking of Ukraine, being neutral in all but sea, they have moved to enter Romania and Bulgaria into the fold of the Ukrainian nation, though sure to meet resistance from turkey, whom is trying the same strategy with the added bonus of iran and Georgia.

the Egyptians, perhaps soon to gain the Nobel prize from peace, have taken to most neutral moves.
they plan to take Saudi Arabia, the holy lands and Libya.
although sure to meet near to zero resistance (sand doesn't make for much of an obstacle), with turkey being occupied by a navy in the black sea, the Egyptians might just realize the dream of a Muslim empire. time will tell.

as for Poland itself, nothing can be said. Poland is great, Poland is big, Poland is cool.

thank you for joining me on my very biased commentary of the first season of 1994.

my name is Polandman, and this is polska daily News Inc. Ltd. Corp.

27 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: This might possibly be the best global press I’ve ever seen. Polska Daily News 5 stars
27 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: I agree. Please continue to publish.
27 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: I too, give a 5 star review
27 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
27 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: Anybody want a croissant while we wait?
28 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: I only eat eels.
28 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: To be fair, jellied eels are very scrummy. I grew up on them.
28 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: I'd rather have a plate of Fettuccini.
28 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: Very good news stuff Poland! ????
28 Aug 24 UTC Autumn, 1994: I'll have some Vodka while I wait...
