Interdum feror cupidine partium magnarum Europae vincendarum (Sometimes I get this urge to conquer large parts of Europe.) Cum catapultae proscriptae erunt tum soli proscript catapultas habebunt. (When catapults are outlawed, only outlaws will have catapults.) Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam. (I have a catapult. Give me all the money, or I will fling an enormous rock at your head.)

01 Oct 24 UTC | Good game! |
01 Oct 24 UTC | I assume Italy didn't enter draw vote because I had it in for a year already lol. |
01 Oct 24 UTC | Good game, everyone, particularly Turkey and Germany. Two things: 1. The decision to abandon Naples in Spring 2001 was such a tough call. Was pretty much me abandoning any hope at expanding anymore to prevent Turkey from overrunnig Italy and me, with a not guaranteed hope that Italy would take it graciously rather than take revenge on me. Looking at how things ended up, pretty confident it was the right call, but woof, agonizing decision to make. I know the Italy who was around then is not our Italy now, so expressing sadness at Italy's civil disorder, abandonment, and subsequent frequent lack of orders that allowed Turkey to eat them rapidly, because I fully intended to try to include our original Italy in the draw. 2. Britain, if you're still around, that suicide into me as Germany ate all of your homeland was the bitterest Betty stuff I've seen in awhile. Not a good play. |
01 Oct 24 UTC | Britain giving up like that facilitated Germany eating me before I could finish Russia and properly turn around. Those suicides are stupid |
01 Oct 24 UTC | Poland and Old Italy played such a good game. Poland had some great defensive moves for a couple of years in a row, and I butchered the attack, so I was deadlocked on all fronts for way too long. |
01 Oct 24 UTC | And I think I should have backed away from Spain sooner, so they could actually fight in the South. |
01 Oct 24 UTC | I didn't pay too much attention to the East, but well played Turkey! |
01 Oct 24 UTC | Hey, the Italy NMR only balanced out the France start of game NMR :p. Still, well played. |
