10 Feb 13 UTC | Spring, 1: Hi all. Just to let you know that myself, Carthage and Rome know each other in real life. We're all new(ish) to the game though, and it won't give us any advantage or affect our gameplay in any way. |
11 Feb 13 UTC | Spring, 1: Thank you for the warning. Best of luck to you. |
11 Feb 13 UTC | Spring, 1: Do the arrows between some narrow stretches of sea mean that you can more a land army across in one move or do you still need a fleet to convoy? For example from the Gibralta straight between Mauretania and Saguntum - do you need fleet in the Iberian Sea of can you just move because of the arrow? |
11 Feb 13 UTC | Spring, 1: Yes, you're right about the arrows - they indicate a land route (in both of the examples you've stated), which you can move in one move. |
11 Feb 13 UTC | Autumn, 1: Can you go, in one move, diagonally across the seas in the middle. From Gulf of Tacape to Messenian Sea for example? |
12 Feb 13 UTC | Autumn, 1: Yes, you can make that diagonal move. Here's a handy reference for available moves on this map: http://www.variantbank.org/results/rules/a/ancient_med.htm |
