13 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: [South-Africa]:And yet another country has fallen - cya, Argentina.
13 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: [Argentina]:Lol, someone's behind the times. Argentina fell about four 'years' ago.
13 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: [Kenya]:where there is life, there is hope... but not in diplomacy? ::grin::
14 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2006: [Argentina]:Wow, losing gave me 28 points. If I had known about that I'd have disbanded all my stuff turns ago. Enjoy the rest of your game guys.

Also lol @ SA thinking his actions are what defeated me =P
20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Oz]:Western Canada, where do you think Pacific Russia is going with all these fleets? After me what do you think happens? Learn to think agead
20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Pacific-Russia]:I don't think he needs to worry about me. Also if you really want to make your plea effective you should post it on his message board and not the global board. It just comes across as you sounding desperate. No offense I am just giving some advice.
20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Pacific-Russia]:Also our fleet ratio is 6 to 10 so he outnumbers me in the water.
20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Kenya]:sorry to keep y'all waiting! I didn't notice I was the only one, and could have moved an hour ago.
20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Kenya]:Never mind.. I am not the last, after all!
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Oz]:I never asked for your advice, believe it or not you are not the best player at this game. Actually, I bet I know exactly who you are.
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Brazil]:Do I need to put you guys in timeout?
Lets be nice
Haha
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Pacific-Russia]:Relax budy. I am definantly not the best player here. As for who I am what does that matter? I don't even know you. We could be on different continents for all you know.
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Kenya]:I thought we had established that The Cylons were the best player in this game? I guess not.
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Pacific-Russia]:Ha ha, glad the rest of you are keeping this game light hearted.
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [Quebec]:So who of the players is in the Hall of Fame?
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [Brazil]:Not me
Im 14
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [Pacific-Russia]:I just started playing the end of last year so definantly not me. I've played a little on other sites like playdiplomacy, but I don't play enough to be that good.
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [South-Africa]:Definitely not me, unless you consider 36 coins "Hall of Fame".
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [Ghana]:317 represent ;)
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:When Dip first started being a 'rated' game, I was, for a short time, in the "Back Hall Closet of Fame." But that was many years ago.
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [South-Africa]:Hipster Kenya played Diplomacy BEFORE it was cool.
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:lol... maybe even before cool was cool.
21 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 2008: [Quebec]:Quebec played DIP originally via snail mail - 1 move per month through a moderator. Yeah, I'm an old dude!
22 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Western-Canada]:Just in for about half à year and enjoy it. Are there any other european players left?
22 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Pacific-Russia]:What do you mean? Players from Europe, or countries in the European Continent on the board? (This is either a good question or a really dumb one, but I'll ask it anyway)
22 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Western-Canada]:Players from europe
31 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [South-Africa]:What the hell are you doing, PR?
31 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:What are you talking about? Also why are you still alive?
31 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [South-Africa]:Look at all the draw proposals.
I'm alive because you're too far away to reach me.
31 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:I was never the one attacking you. You are making it sound like I am the bad guy. Also for everyone's information, this is a winner takes all match and a draw will result in even shares rather than proportional to center counts. I will not call a draw with desperate countries barely clinging to life. Onc they are eliminated or make themselves respectably strong again I will not conceide to a draw. Why does anyone here want a 7 way draw? That is terrible and can hardly be called a game. No one here should be worried about losing their points by continuing the fighting. This game is about strategy and tact. Not hiding in a corner so you can get a few points and say you did well. That is just not good diplomacy and I will not condone it.
31 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:*typo, I will conciede to a draw once the matter with the weaker countries is dealt with.
31 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Quebec]:Folks, is it time for a.Draw?
31 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:I'm sorry but I can't right now. Two of you are too easily eliminated and it is not fair to give you equal shares of the pot. I am doing this out of principle, not greed. I am content with a four, maybe... five way draw. Why are you all giving up? Many of you have plausable moves that can be made.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:Draw in my opinion, I mean I understand the whole principle thing, but just look at western russia, that my friend is a gigantic stalemate line. I believe the remaining countries, including myself, have proved that we deserve a part of this draw. Heck, even Quebec, tied for the largest superpower votes draw. Classy guy in my opinion.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Western-Canada]:Both Québec and pac russia played it well. So i understand russia's reaction. Of course i hope we get à draw although i am now a small nation as well. If we keep fighting i will try to stay in.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:Look I get everyone's thoughts on this, and thank you Oz for understanding, but I would not call our position a stalemate. Take in to account that WC has to destroy three units this turn. It's not that I want to detroy WC and Oz just to eliminate them, but it just doesn't feel right to call a game when so much more can be gotten out of it. Personally I play for the game and not the points, but it looks like everyone has kind of given up on this game. If that is the case I guess there is no alternative but to draw as there is no fun in a game that no one is interested in. To all who remain I believe you all have played excellent games. Just give it another turn and let's see where we are.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Kenya]:My two cents: I am satisfied with a draw... the two small countries each had a time they WERE much bigger. South Africa has held tenaciously on and I don't mind sharing points with them and giving them a better stat. WesCan has done well, too.... my own position is not THAT great (although I had a great opening against poor Libya... since then I haven't done that much. I deserve a medal for my deceit against Libry, though... just saying.) (do you think that Libya move was incredible??) Seriously though... I understand PacRus's point, and he has the ball in his court. I will defend what I have, and will try to snip a bit more if the game is going to go on... but on the whole, i say let's draw.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:I will give credit where credit is due, and no offense to South Africa, but Quebec could have destroyed you previously and decided against it for reasons unknown to me. If everyone really thinks you played that well then I guess I can go along with the majority and include you in the draw. Same for Oz as you have been a good sport if nothing else. (that is meant in the positive incase anyone thinks I am being critical) Also I can agree with Kenya's point.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [South-Africa]:Hey, I was doing pretty good! I had most of Antarctica, if you remember at one point. Bunch of backstabbing happened, and bam! I'm now a crippled nation. Why Quebec is assisting me is beyond me as well, but it's nice to still be in the game.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Quebec]:Yes, I could have eliminated South Africa earlier; however, he chose to assist me at a time that I needed help, and for that help, he was promised survival and I intend to honor that pledge. While I prefer 4-5 way Draws, I'm am OK with a larger share here. This has been an enjoyable game and I have enjoyed the communications from everyone. It will be interesting to see the names with the countries when the Draw is concluded.

Without a Draw vote, I suppose we could ally 6 against 1 (lol), but where is the fun in that?

WC, you have been a trustworth ally. I regret that you NMR'd at critical times; otherwise, you would have had a much stronger position. That said, you deserve a Draw.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:I can agree with that, but don't worry South Africa I do not deny that you have played a good game. No venom meant by that previous comment. As for 6 against 1, I am not really intimidated by that, however, the same principles that tell me to not just let others win for the sake of points also compels me to give some respect to those who played a good and fair game. I think everyone here qualifies for that and I would feel bad about eliminating Oz. After all what is the point of having principles if you don't stick to them. Very well, once this build is concluded, for the sake of me seeing how things ended, I will conceive a draw.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [South-Africa]:Good to hear, good game all; especially to Ghana and Kenya, I like the work you guys did to try and eliminate me, good tactics.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:I agree and besides, this is more points than I got for my last solo so I am happy with that.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:Much oblidged Pac Russia, and everyone. Classy group of players, excellent game play.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Western-Canada]:I already gave my compliments to pac russia, and Québec. Québec thx for your loyal cooperation and great communication! Oz thx for your cooperation and excellent defence although i betrayed your trust. Kenya partner in crime you survived well after your brillance with libya (sorry i missed it, was busy with my own brillance). Ghana and south africa we had no or minimum contact but thx for THE enjoyable game. I am fine with whatever the outcome will be. Thought i will fight to the end if we continue the game
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Western-Canada]:I just started à new game under the name We will meet again! You are all invited to participate. I would appreciate it. If this game will not we can continue our little war on à brand new board!
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:I'd be up for that.
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Ghana]:I'm in
01 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Kenya]:me too
